Bless you Tim Rogers, my spirit animal. (Only, I suppose, you’re less like a spirit animal, and more like a spirit Professional Video Game Expert and Final Fantasy VII Lover person).

So you have a choice. Either continue to gatekeep your own friends/group you play Smash with and tell people they’re “Having Fun WRONG,” and continue being a groany judgmental prick, or you can take the stick out of your rear, stop being so bothered by a freaking game, and get over the fact that people enjoy different

Ooorrr, you know, you could just let people play whatever they want, Mr. Fun Police.

Not on your life lol

To you lol

What if you wanted the hitstun and weightiness and mechanics of 64, but frankly 12 characters on a 25 year old system just weren’t cutting it for you anymore? What if you wanted that gameplay that you found the most fun, but wanted Cloud? Ryu? Isabelle? In a modern resolution on a modern screen with whatever

You say this as if you were the target demographic. Don’t hack your Switch, don’t get the mod. Play how you want.

The idea for Ezio, the talking cap that accompanies Link on his quest, came from the Gnat Hat in Four Swords. While brainstorming items for Link to wear, including masks and caps, the team settled upon a talking hat, which led to Ezio.

That seems... super random. Not that I would necessarily know.

Wow, this is a rare take. Firstly, almost no-one I’ve ever seen has ever even played Seiken Densetsu 3/Secret of Mana 2 (excuse me, Trials of Mana), but for someone who has to dislike the game’s combat? That’s a new one for me.

Well, it seems you don’t play Smash Bros at all, because if you’d read the article you may have actually gleaned the part where the character changes in question here resulted in a grievous oversight on Nintendo’s part, where a basic mechanic of the game (the bubble shield) no longer functions as it should, as it does

don’t do this to me

Yup, thank you. That’s totally fair. I think that’s all anyone could really ask for. I’m mostly just tired of hearing people relentlessly vilify Square with their b**ing and moaning. There are PC mods if they really want the exact same experience with a fresh coat of paint.

your comment was going so great, and you almost got a star but then

sorry you’re bad at hard games lol. Whatever floats your boat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Never said it wasn’t subjective. The teasing stab at this preference for turn-based flavor of JRPG combat was just baseless cheeky slander. :p

Yeah, but, uh... screw turn based combat, ya?

For Honor devs working on an official Star Wars fighting game: wen?
