You might have had a pilonidal cyst. I get those and they’re always right in the crack of your ass. They get super swollen and puss filled. Then again, they don’t usually come in threes lol. 

Yeah, that’s actually a pretty good way to end up in my office. Most people don’t have sterile/sufficiently clean equipment. So they end up with an infection. It’s typically staph. I’m a pretty big fan of preventive doxycycline or minocycline for people who have a baseline cystic tendency.
