I use old tshirts, leg pants, and socks to make toys for my dog. Just stuff a tennis ball or two in there, tie into knots and he goes nuts. Also is easier to tie back together over and over instead of dealing with stuffing from a store-bought toy.

Old socks are great as a wet swifter pad & on a steam mop too. I cut the tops off, cut a slit down the bottom & turn them inside out. It's cheaper, less wasteful & works better too.
