I found out the hard way about glass cleaner. Name-brand all the way.

For me, wireless charging is awesome. Not having to fiddle with a charging cord every time I need to charge just makes my day every time. I bet you’ll love it.

LOL!

It’s interesting to me that parents today seem to feel like they need to participate in their children’s pretend play. I don’t remember my parents EVER doing that with me. If I wanted to play pretend, I either had to do it on my own or with friends. Were expectations just very different in the 70s? Or were my parents

I love to do that too ... it takes a little more effort to buy the specialty stamps, but I enjoy sending things like birthday cards with a fun stamp on them.

If it would be fun for you, do it! Life is short. :)

Sorry that happened to you, NoriegaTony.

Meh ... see, this just means I will eat chips and chocolate. ;) No washing required!

Sorry, I should have been more clear — didn’t mean to imply my frustration was with you, Claire! I’ve seen/read tips other places about both of the things I mentioned, not in the same article. I appreciate good ideas and helpful tips ... it’s just hard to know what to do when these ideas contradict each other. I hope

I keep reading tips that suggest washing/cutting up a week’s worth of fruit and vegetables at a time so you have ready-to-go, healthy snacks in the fridge ... but then I read other advice that says not to wash most of those things until just before eating. The contradiction annoys me.

I feel for you -- I’m in that small minority too. It makes me mad when people act like a flu shot is nothing -- for them, maybe! For me, I’m in pretty bad pain for a solid week. I did the nasal spray a couple of times, but that doesn’t seem to be available except for kids this year, and so I’m going to suck it up and

This is always tough for me as the “single, no kids” friend. I don’t want to overstep my bounds, but it can be difficult to do nothing or think before reacting. One time, I was in the kitchen alone with my friend’s daughter — I think she was about 5 at the time. And she stuck her finger in the icing on a cake that was

Thank you for this -- it made me laugh out loud on a day when I really needed it!

I use the desktop version daily.

Honestly, this has been a lifelong mystery to me. I was taught to use a washcloth for the “rinsing” part. Then I started visiting friends’ houses as I got older and discovered many of them DID NOT USE WASHCLOTHS FOR ANYTHING. What the what???

On the flip side, I’m tired of hearing entitled brides get mad at people who don’t give a gift that’s the equivalent of what it cost to feed them dinner at the wedding. A wedding should be about celebrating with the people closest to you -- not giving a gift in payment for dinner.

The gaiters I bought are large enough that I can easily make a double layer of fabric to go over my nose & mouth, and yes, they’re pretty darn snug. So I’m hopeful they’re at least better than nothing.

Thanks, all, for the sympathy. I am getting Botox and am also taking Emgality. They help some, but I’m still miserable a lot of the time. I take Maxalt for the bad ones, but it usually knocks me out. I am headed toward menopause and hoping it will help. I’ve heard it does about 50% of the time. I haven’t heard of

I have chronic migraines and am spending this Saturday night like I have many before — in a stupor from medication. I’m not drowsy enough to sleep but too out of it to actually do anything much... which means I’m bored and frustrated and feeling guilty about wasted time. I wish I could reclaim all the time these

I haven’t seen a whole lot of Peppa, but what I’ve seen I thought was cute. I was sad when my nieces moved on to other shows like Paw Patrol (UGH).
