I’m trying to remember the name of this horribly sad movie that aired on cable a while back. It was in black and white -- my guess is made in the 1940s or 1950s? -- about a large family. I think the father dies and then the mother dies, and the older children try to find homes for the younger ones. Pretty sure parts…
