Yeah, I think that’s changed enormously from one generation to the next -- not really sure why. My parents had a rule that we could pick one food we wouldn’t eat ... everything else we had to at least have *some*. And forget not eating what was served for dinner.

WOW. Generous employer!

Thank you so much for this info! My only problem will be finding enough time to watch everything I want! :)

Bwa ha ha! :) I love it!

I’m very sorry you are going through so much. May you somehow find the peace and strength to persist.

Yeah, but Amazon’s selection has been pretty paltry too. I keep checking back and can only find my favorite soap with ripoff pricing, etc. Maybe I should try a different online store.

Yep, it’s a thing in my area. I took the last bottle of liquid hand soap off the shelf at my grocery store last time I went.

WOW. I’m very jealous!

I’m so sorry. That’s a crapton of stuff to deal with. Hope things get better for you.

I would be interested to know how true that is -- if “most people” really are willing to go back to normal behavior as things stand. I don’t technically qualify as being in a high-risk group, but I don’t feel any safer than I did before my state started opening things back up. I know some of my friends are starting to

I totally LOLed when I got to the part about the drains being plugged with peaches or hamburger ... can you imagine the repair person’s reaction finding that?! Bwa ha ha!

Yikes. :( So sorry you have to deal with that kind of obnoxiousness in someone so closely related!

I’m facing something similar ... I have a dear friend who plans to drive with her family to my town (halfway across the country) this summer. I’m waiting to see what happens between now and then, but I dread the likelihood that I’ll have to tell her, sorry, can’t see you.

Yikes. :(

LOL! Love it.

This gets good and awkward when doing a “virtual visit” with a doctor, I’ve found. The usual things you would use on a social phone call don’t work there. I can tell my mom I need to go fix dinner, etc., but your doctor??

Dealing with all of the precautions -- which may or may not even do any good -- is completely exhausting.

The only solution!

OMG -- I’m so sorry you have flooding to deal with on top of everything else. Sending ehugs.

I read one article that recommended transferring any takeout/delivery food into your own containers/dishes immediately for that reason. Honestly, I’m exhausted considering all the possible ways I could get this virus. :(
