Sending good thoughts your way. That's a lot to deal with at once.

Eeesh. :( Thanks for the warning.

I feel ya. Most of my closest friends live in other parts of the country, and most of my friends both here & out of town are married & have kids, so it's a struggle trying to find people to go out and have fun with sometimes. Have you tried joining some groups through Meetup.com? You can find a group of people for

How fortunate he was able to get help in time. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

Feeling crappy tonight in a first-world-problems sort of way. This guy I've had a crush on for a couple of years finally asked me if I wanted to see a movie with him a few weeks ago. There were some hints there that he just wanted to be friends, but I still held out a little hope until we went out for the third time

Super cute coat!

Cute - I have never heard of a beet-loving dog either! :)

Number Two! So purty. :)

You poor thing! :( I'm not good with GIFs but am sending electronic hugs. I reacted like that once to a medicine I used to be able to take with no problems, and it was awful. Hope you feel better soon.

Reminds me of my dearly departed kitty who used to love to lie down with her head on my shoes. Always made me wonder what the appeal of my stinky sneakers was?? :) It was cute except for the times she ended up hurling hairballs into them. :P

I laughed SO hard reading this. Thank you!

LOL - sorry!

Try not to beat yourself up too much, and give yourself credit for getting out of the situation. It's easy when your emotions aren't involved to see what would have been smart, or logical, but get feelings involved and that usually goes out the window (at least it usually does for me).

I hope you can stick with it so there will be one more nontoxic doctor in the world. Sounds like you are doing a good job taking care of yourself by looking for people outside the program to hang out with.

I thought the messages I have gotten were bad, but you win. ;) But thanks for sharing and making me laugh!

Hate to tell you this, but I'm 43 and still dealing with it. So, no. ;) Hang in there!

This is the first I've heard of Sunday Assembly ... sounds interesting.

What a lovely tribute. I'm so sorry for your loss. I never knew either of my grandfathers — you are lucky you had one who was so special to you. Hugs!

Are there any Unitarian Universalist churches in your area? If so, you might want to check them out. In the UU faith, no one forces any specific beliefs on you, but you have a chance to interact with other people who want to be part of a community exploring spiritual/religious issues.

GROAN. :D
