Holy crap. Talk about having balls of steel.

Thank you for providing me with my Daily Allotment of LOL :) ... The "/headsmack" was a nice touch.
You already cover fantasy, which doesn't fall under science fiction; please keep doing so :)
Riiiiiiiiiii-co-laaaaaaaaaaa!
Green legs and hands. Perfect! :)
I know you really wanted the baby Wookie, but this is MUCH better, TRUST me!
I'm of the "If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, etc.," school of thought. There's no doubt in my mind that other species can experience and exhibit signs of grief and mourning.
Oil-Can!
(double-post)
If it's a weapon and it can cause destruction on a massive scale, i.e. wiping out small cities all by its lonesome, then it's a Weapon of Massive Destruction. Plus, the freakin' things are powered by nuclear reactors, for Oppenheimer's sake!
Love that book. Fascinating reading and glimpse at "what might have been."
It's also one of the techniques that makes nuclear explosions possible. The plastic explosives in the warhead are carefully shaped to focus the blast inward, crushing the fissile material into even more density, triggering the Earth-shattering Kaboom!
Well, there goes the neighborhood.
Darn. Good point. Ok, your plan's better.
If you completely disregard the potential for unfortunate poisoning risks, wouldn't this be a lovely thing to have get into the food supplies of white supremacists?
The LeDuc would have been ridiculously noisy for the pilot, I suspect. Wild design, though. Imagine flying something with the cockpit embedded in the engine intake!
YES!!! The X-Jet! Freaking awesome! I would love to be able to try one of those things. The one poor-quality video I've been able to find is tantalizing beyond all reason. Amazing thing.
The Valkyrie was/is frighteningly-awesome. Love that plane! Such a tragedy that the one was lost in that accident with the chase plane that clipped it, killing those pilots.
What about "Charlie X" ?
Both Nook and iBooks versions should become available in April, according to the author. Yay! :)
