All the soft drink jokes aside, Alpine lakes and rivers do have similar colour where I live. We call it the emerald colour though, not lime. The water is ice cold and crystal clear.
I love this post, Max! I’ve been a Citroen Dyane owner since 1990, and drove it all over Europe. From the Mediterranean beaches to Nordkapp in Arctic Norway, and from West Coast of Ireland to Romania.
Just a couple of pedantic corrections.
Great article!
Awesome article Max!
Thank you for posting these photos Max! It’s always a pleasure to find out about people who appreciate the goodness that is the Citroen CX. I’ve had this car for twenty years, and it still brings an ear-to-ear grin on my face when I drive it.

Brilliant, fantastic video!
Last summer I packed myself, my wife, two teenage kids and all our luggage (including camping & hiking gear) into a rented Toyota Corolla, and we set off on a five weeks long road trip to see Winnipeg, Drumheller, Calgary, Glacier & Yellowstone National Parks, Seattle, Olympic National Park, Vancouver and Banff…
I admit I never owned any other car than a Citroen. I also admit I currently own 11 (eleven) Citroens.
