This meme is slightly inaccurate:

My dad drove this car in the 1970s.

Rok is a fairly common name in Slovenia. Turk is not a very common surname, but not unheard of. There are 11 people named Rok Turk in the country, according to this Website:

Thumbs up for the 2CV truckette!

My favourite place to go road-tripping are the Nordic countries.

I’m glad you liked the photos, hopefully they may help you with your trip planning! The R500 actually belongs to a friend in Winnipeg, who took us on a tour of the city, and has been a great help after our long flight from Europe. Fantastic car!

I took my family on a similar road trip in the summer, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. We flew from Europe into Winnipeg, and rented a car there. Then we headed west towards Calgary & Drumheller. Our plan was to continue west towards Banff, but the weather forecast was really bad, so we drove south into the USA,

My dream road trip would be to take a year off, and drive around the world. With an old Citroen, of course. Either the Dyane, the GS or the CX.

Thank you Sir!

I was born & raised in beautiful Slovenia (which used to be a part of former Yugoslavia), and I still live here. When I was born (in 1968), my parents had a nice VW Beetle. In 1972, they bought a brand new Citroen GS, which was fantastic. I remember thinking to myself as a little boy: “Wow, this looks like a

I’ve taken my family on many long road trips all over Europe and North America. We spent five weeks in Western Canada & the US Pacific Northwest this summer, visited great cities such as Calgary, Vancouver & Seattle, and did a lot of great hiking in several national parks (Banff, Olympic NP, Yellowstone). We did US

Thank you Sir, Le Shit they are!

I want my car to be shit, so I ran out, found an airplane, and took this picture.

Not sure if anyone is interested in knowing this, but it looks like the photos were taken on the beautiful Rab island in Croatia. Fantastic place, I’ve spent several happy family holidays there!
