I just want to know what all this means:

I'm sure she did, but she was rushed to the hospital for drinking rubbing alcohol.

I just did a little research and the Emmys didn't introduce the "Outstanding Guest Performer in a Comedy Series" category until the year after this episode aired. Probably because they wished they could have given him one.

Now playing

Just like Uncle Ned (aka "young Tom Hanks" for you whippersnappers) on Family Ties:

My Mirena insertion and subsequent removal/reinsertion stories (i.e. the initial insertion and the changeover to the new one 5 years later - which coincidentally happened yesterday) would probably read like cautionary tales. But the hassles are worth never, ever having to think about birth control. The Mirena bonus,

Well, think about the lesbian couple - they probably just picked the dad from a binder. Stick to the mechanics and leave out the romance. It'll be fine.

And here's the original "hit piece" that piss him off.

It is also really worth it to include a link to the article that he was referring to. She referred to him twice toward the end in the most benign context imaginable. Just says he's concerned about access to parking. (Not the "hit piece" from during the election but the subsequent one that triggered the FB rant).

I've seen beautiful women walk down the street and they do get more attention. And now that I'm almost 40 I notice I can generally make it to my destination without the same kind of interference I dealt with 15 years ago. But the thing is, even if you aren't a model, they are still paying attention. They examine you

Brilliant. Just one small change I would make:

Before they start with new flavors how about fixing the old ones. They did something to Thin Mints at some point in the past 20 years (dear God that's painful to acknowledge) and now they taste like Waxy-Crunch-with-a-Hint-of-Mints.

Forgive me for taking this whole seriously AND for not having the courage to draw my own conclusions AND, perhaps, for having a sarcasm-detector that needs some adjustments, but I have to ask: does the Jezebel voice actually think she insists on being carried like a baby and, if so, what kind of judgement is being

The episode also featured the Pie Face chain, which has all but gone out of business completely in the US. Most reality shows have a shorter turnaround time, no? Waiting a year to air these episodes seems like you're just asking for them to be completely irrelevant or worse, as in the case of the Cosby angle.

I thought it was John Stamos at first!

Cleaning out my closet, and found these old answering machine tapes from when I was a teen (hence the pointe shoes). I'm keeping them, even though I no longer have a means to play them. Because I know there's some really good gossip from a wealthy NYC suburban Junior High School circa 1989 encoded on those tapes.

So why would losing 50 or even a few hundred followers make someone mad? If the numbers are that small they aren't part of an effort to become famous.

Jake Tapper was joking, right? Because not only did it make me lol but it makes up for my general sense that he's a douche (although I can't remember specifically why I think that).

His hair and his douchy exasperation. The brother seemed less disdainfully embarrassed.

Take a moment for the following thought experiment: thousands people of color descend on Manhattan dressed in costume with the express purpose of moving in large mobs and getting drunk. How would the event be reported in the press? Would more than 2 police show up on a given block to manage the raucous and disruptive

Maybe this is confirmation bias in action, but it was so obvious to me that the younger one was the conservative one.
