I hate that fewer people go to theatres now.

It can depend on the background pattern used, too - I’m pretty good at them (like I don’t even have to think about it), but the red one (a character with like a plumed costume) and especially the yellow one (sunglasses) barely came together and kept dropping out for me.
just by having Stamets say “spore stuff will work!”
Considering the feature differences between the 3 trim levels is even more of a mystery. Either all the margin is built in to the base model, or they’re losing even more money on the nicer trim packages.
While I know the Tesla fanboys and the Musk haters love to throw shit at each other, for the exact same price as a base Model 3 with 220 mile range you can buy a fully-loaded Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid and not ever have the slightest twinge of range anxiety. I feel like I should be able to point that out.
Are you east enough that Ohio is west?
Yes.
Also there is a very strange slice of fandom (I hesitate to assume it overlaps with the basement-dwellers, but one can never be sure) that has outrageously narrow expectations about what is required to honor the concept of “canon.”
Right? It was... weird, man. I think that weirdness was the biggest part of what made it compelling to binge watch. The end (where they did the Cool Thing in the cafeteria and it stopped the Bad Thing) was trippy as hell, there were no clear answers (what’s the meaning of the book under her bed?!? was the stuff in the…
Did you see Glenn Close’s similar emotional journey as she stood next in line on the red carpet?!
The good news is: none of those deals are permanent—or even enforceable—unless and until they are ratified by the U.S. Senate as a formal treaty.
The truth is that you could fly semi-haphazardly through the asteroid belt in our Solar System probably thousands—if not millions—of times without ever hitting an asteroid. Why? Because in the real universe asteroids are spaced out way, way more than they are in the movies. For example, if you crammed all of the…
Presumably it would not hit the market all at the same time.
I love this comment so much. I read CPM’s original review before watching the show and so I was prepared to be unimpressed and/or bored, but I found it delightful and also weird in the right places and also fairly tightly-plotted.
Except he’s willing to change the fucking laws to suit his own purposes
Shades of that how? He calls Spike Lee dumb and brags about three things he thinks are part of his presidential record (two of which have nothing to do with him and the other of which actually hurts most Americans, including most Black people). There’s no hint of a threat.
top floor suite in Vegas . . . through a legal, reputable and secure source?

I don’t want to put words in the author’s mouth, but it seems like the article is a preemptive “Please don’t say you’ll vote for any Democratic nominee except Bernie.” Because staying away from the polls in November 2020 is how we get another 4 years of the Klansman in Chief.
