I have rented in several neighborhoods in Philly, I will always remember the one place where all the people across the street were parents in their 30s who owned their homes and hung out with each other and every time the dirty renters on our side of the road would say Hi they would just glare at us.
I sometimes eat avocado toast and also just bought a house, its seems like lots of people my age are also buying houses in the same community at the same time and having kids...I hope this means we will know and like each other.
I grew up in Bucks so we went to Seaside....all the sleaziness of Wildwood but more compact...

I JUST bought a house and it has classy slate and copper roofing from 1890 so I will never have to replace it....but if I do, I am going to have my husband kill me for the life insurance money, it will be the only way to afford it.
This one was at the oxford valley mall, it then became a strawbridge’s, then a boscov’s and since has been vacant.
That’s why we chose Glenside, immensely walkable and access to the train.

Wanamakers! My High School got their massive Eagle when they closed in like 97....then we gave it to another high school because we didn’t know what to do with it.
I’m 36 and mother to a 9 month old. When you have a baby your life pretty much screeches to a halt. I am so damn glad I was able to live some much before having a baby. Sure, you might have more energy in your twenties but you still won’t have the time to do anything fun/interesting with a baby.
