Yup. It was on PS+ and I remembered that Rebellion is the company that saved 2000AD so I played to be supportive … that was 45 hours of playtime ago. I haven’t even tried the multiplayer yet. Shooting zombies with a sniper rifle with an explosive attachment is apparently all I needed. I thought I wanted to play giant

I’m old and forgetful … what was the SW fighter game that had the Millennium Falcon as a bonus ship and had you using a brand new rebel fighter to destroy the world destroyers (excavators? something?) on Mon Calamari? Pretty sure it was a N64 game but I can’t remember.

Finishing up Control and making some headway with Disco Elysium.

This sounds like something I would have read if not for the ridiculous click thru format.

I’m still trying to get through Control from last month. It’s a surprisingly good game. Then I got Disco Elysium because Patrick Rothfuss said it was the best writing he’d ever seen in a video game. Been wanting to try Days Gone for a while. Never heard of Zombie Army 4, or in fact any Zombie Army game.

Jesus. I never saw that.

Oh wow. I remember the Vic 20 and the Spectrum 48K and I used to play Raid Over Moscow and Impossible Mission on my mate’s C64.

It’s a fair point. I don’t think about the game that much but if they made a new one I’d buy it instantly.

The ones that stick out for me, are Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins and Fear Effect 1 and 2. They’re from 20 years ago but they had really interesting stories and gameplay. The one-armed mercenary section from Fear Effect and the unlockable amnesiac ninja from Tenchu were both done really well. I really liked

Been thinking about getting the N7 logo for years. I don’t have a tattoo but I’m pretty sure that’s the one I’d get.

Happy Trails Stephen! Good luck and maybe write that Assassin’s Creed book I’ve been sweating you to write for the last decade?

The Iain Banks Culture books seem like a pretty open canvas to play with.

The fact that you guys (at Kotaku) can’t quit the easy fix of shitting on Cyberpunk while this thing sits there flipping off the entire market throughout, is fucking asinine. At least I know what the fuck you’re talking about when you come up with some new way to shit on the game. If someone put a loaded .38 to my

I went Xbox 360 two generations ago because it was my understanding it was better at shooters, I went PS4 last generation because I was bummed at how few JRPGs were on the Xbone. I’m sticking with PS for the foreseeable future until I can articulate on any level what Xbox I may want outside of “You know, the new one.

Yeah ... but what if all my outfits suck?

Stephen’s part about the ghoulish elements of TLOU2 is probably the most in-depth analysis of the game I’ve read here so far. Maybe 4 or 5 of you take a break from shitting on Cyberpunk and actually write about the narrative and the gameplay feedback of a story (TLOU2) that trucks in ultra-violence, for seemingly no

Since I played through the original trilogy multiple (multiple) times with all DLC I’d just about convinced myself that I didn’t need the Legendary Edition.

Here’s the thing, I’m playing the buggy, crashy PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077, and it’s still way better than any game I’ve played on PS4 except maybe XCOM2 or Witcher 3.

1982 was a hell of a year for under-rated classics. Conan the Barbarian came out that year too.

Ha! At Least Speed Racer is a legit gem. I’ve been fighting the fight about Starship Troopers for twenty years!
