I’ve been saying for months that I was going to subscribe to Glossybox after your reviews - let me go sign up right now! That coffee scrub sounds amazing.

Very true. Gap overall is hurting...which is amazing cause they have been hiring up a storm, so I’m not sure what that’s about.

Like, I get it...but I don’t get it. But I don’t understand most of the things that the public likes, so there’s that.

The last pair of ON pants I had fit horribly on me - I have lots of hips/booty/thighs. I might try some of the pixie pants and I hope they aren’t horrible.

Yes! Their tami’s are my shit, I have at least 1 in every color. For basics, they are great.

I feel like I’ve tried on every summer dress in the past 3 years and nothing has been cute.

Tacky Tacky Tacky. Those people are horrid.

Old Navy sucks tho. The already-sketchy quality has gone down. They haven’t had any cute summer dresses in years. And the plus size? Ridiculous that’s its online-only & not great. How did he get this job?

Aww that sucks! I’m the eldest and the first girl to get married, so she was super involved even though we’re long distance as well. She also didn’t have the wedding she wanted when she married my dad, and she confessed that she was living vicariously through me & my wedding experience. Hopefully you and your mom can

Yes, my mother is a grown-ass woman, but she also loves me enough to listen to my request for my wedding. Was she obligated? No, and I didn’t imply that. I also didn’t imply that I scolded her, you read way too much into that. I asked my mom what she wanted to wear, and I gave her input as to what I’d like to see her

Instead they just went to things like “I saw this cool thing about Pi, you should add it to your wedding!” I got married on Pi Day & my mom got REALLY into the Pi Day nerd wedding thing.

OMG so glad I didn’t have to deal with any of that drama. My mom’s dress was a bit more sparkly than I liked, but otherwise she was completely respectful and listened to my requests. My MIL wore a nice suit in our color scheme, so no issues there.

It worked great! Instead of getting 800 emails a day, each one with a link to a dress, she could just pin the dresses she liked to the board. I’d do the same. Of course, my mom would then call me EVERY TIME she pinned a dress & ask me “did you see the dress I pinned? What do you think?”. Sadly Pinterest can’t keep

Shopping for a mother of the bride dress for my mom was more of an ordeal than shopping for my wedding gown. I had one rule for her - nothing with a jacket. Any dress with a matching jacket is guaranteed to make you look 10 years older, and my mom isn’t “old” at all, she’s barely in her 50’s. After trying on a ton of

OMG YOU JUST TOLD EVERYONE ABOUT MY FAVORITE MASCARA EVER!

Oh no sarcasm at all! I don’t want to be one of those women who can’t do anything while their pregnant, drinks and lunchmeat and soft cheeses and coffee included. I admire that you’re doing your own thing while growing a little human :-)

It’s just as bad as calling her boss “honey” or “sweetie”. Peach was a bad bad choice and she should refrain from using it ever again.

OMG I want to be you when I’m pregnant.

I’m disappointed. Serial shone a spotlight on a case that otherwise wouldn’t have received any scrutiny and that’s what I enjoyed about Season 1. We hear about Bergdahl everyday and his case is already getting a ton of attention. What are the Serial producers going to uncover that others haven’t?

Ulta is like a combo Target & Sephora, with both your high-end brands and your drugstore stuff. True story - Ulta’s strategy has been to open locations near Target stores, and those stores do better than the ones not near a Target.
