OOH gotta try that!
OOH gotta try that!
Duly noted. I’m Black so I’ve got some melanin protection, but I also use a moisturizer with SPF :-)
My husband may have downloaded this show last week and we may have watched it. It was awesome and I may now be a fan of this show.
I love it and the bottle seems to last a good while. Which for $15, I expect. I’ve used it 2X a day since I got it and I’ve got plenty left, plus brighter, more even skin.
I have really dry skin, so I’m all about exfoliation. The Glow Tonic has glyconic acid to help with cell turnover, and I find it also gets off that last layer of junk (skin? makeup?) after I use my Clarisonic. My skin looks brighter and more even.
I’m in love with 2 things right now - NARS products and the Pixi Glow Tonic. I already wore the NARS tinted moisturizer but I recently added a blush and the lip pencils to my rotation. I REALLY love the satin lip pencil in Marjella, it’s the perfect red for my skin tone. The Pixi Glow Tonic is new in Target stores…
Derwood? Who is that? His name is Derwin.
That was my first thought. He grossly overpaid.
I found that a lot of the venues we were interested in had their pricing online, which helped immensely. It’s easy to screen out folks. What was hard was florists - only 1 florist out of the dozen I scouted online had any type of online pricing. I had to have meetings with each one just to get an estimate #joy.
*hugs* I’m so sorry this happened to you
Add to the list:
We got an extra rider for my ring as part of our renter’s insurance.
I met my husband on Twitter - he artfully slid into my DMs and made the best of that 140 character limit! These kids nowadays don’t know how good they have it; now you can DM pics and no character limit!
This was big news earlier this week guys. The convention ended days ago. Slow news day for yall?
She paid for the rehearsal dinner, so she got what she wanted. We shut her down on all her other requests for the wedding because we paid for that ourselves.
Oh she’s super Southern Belle. You should have seen the way she clutched her pearls after we said we weren’t having a unity candle ceremony!
The pizza idea is great but I wonder how long it would take to serve all those people from a food truck. Also I’m totes jealous - we wanted to have pizza at our rehearsal for our Pi Day wedding, and my mother-in-law vetoed it cause “pizza is tacky”.
So TLC knew about this for years, at least rumors of it, but only pulled the show after the abuse was made public? WOW.
I didn’t know that - thanks for the tip!
I read the piece this weekend and it was riveting. I started thinking about the generations of women who suffered silently after date rape, putting on a brave face and taking that secret (and the shame) with them to the grave.
