It clearly can’t be the GT2 RS because that’s not a thing until Porsche says it’s a thing and Porsche hasn’t said it’s a thing so it’s not a thing, so just stop asking about the thing that totally isn’t a thing, OK!?

If course she gets to go to Goodwood, she’s clearly the fanciest.

Am I the only person who thinks “Why is this guy singing about Production Part Approval Process” every time I see the song abbreviated? I haven’t seen/heard the song but if it were about actual PPAPs I would have to just for the crazy.

Wait, you guys have a union? I had no idea bloggers had the organizational skills necessary to unionize.

If this were in the US it would last around 3 weekends before a couple of 16 year olds, one in a clapped out Honda and one in a brand new Mustang V6 decided to race each other around the parking lot, damaged multiple exotics and cripped 3-5 attendees, then left in a panic peeling out while scraping the guardrail.

Hah, she skipped over a LOT. Basically just caught him up on the current story mission I was on. I was kind of disappointed I missed it.

Wait, what? I’m 40+ hours in and never thought to go back to the tutorial house and check for his grave. I guess I would have figured it out when I went back around to take out all of the training dummies, but holy crap, I guess I’ll be doing that tonight!

It’s OK man, I’d like to see more articles about the game too. It seems to me that there are a lot of unexplored questions regarding the development and decisions made with the game that I’d be really interested to read about. Did they do a developer interview and I just missed it?

A quick 1st gear spin is about all most street tires need, and if you get them too hot they start to lose grip. Drag radials get stickier the hotter you make them. I’m really interested to see how well this thing gets out of the hole, because it seems to have fairly short-sidewall drag radials. Tall sidewalls and

The F-15 has always been my favorite jet, it would be a shame if it were to be retired. Obviously it will need to be at some point, but it’s amazing to me that such an old design is still more than relevant on the world stage.

Holy crap, you’re right! Almost every single one of them are on the wrong side of the road!

I think you’re underestimating the car mags a little. I know they’re not all spectacular and their testing methods vary greatly, but if Dodget says “this is how you should launch the car” they’ll likely follow it. They don’t do burnouts with street tires because doing a burnout with street tires is

I wonder what the actual amount of time is between RPM rise and manifold pressure increase. My guess is they’re talking about the difference between hitting the throttle with a vacuum in the intake plenum and intercooler and hitting the throttle with them pre-pressurized. I’m sure the manifold pressure is 102%

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Honestly I don’t think it will make a lick of difference to the actual vehicle performance, but I think they’re talking about it having more manifold boost pressure at launch than without the trans brake or 2-step. I’m sure it DOES have more manifold pressure than without

Those types of people don’t buy manuals anyway.

It should be way faster than a Hellcat, at least as far as magazine times go. I’d guess it will knock almost a second off of the Hellcat’s average magazine 1/4 mile times. Now will it be much quicker than a Hellcat on drag radials? Probably not, maybe .4-.5 seconds quicker, but at least it should hold up the drag

See, my first car was a ‘66 Pontiac with a 3-speed turbo 400. After driving that for 8 years I swore off ever buying an automatic again. Obviously this only applies to my vehicle, the wife needs an automatic so she can deal with kids/phone/food/whatever while driving.

A Lenco is not the same as a gated manual with a clutch. It’s about as similar as a paddle-shift dual-clutch.

Uh huh. Because that’s totally the same as a gated manual with a clutch.

I live in Atlanta, I know about driving a manual in traffic. In 10 years there has only been one single moment where I thought “I wish I had an automatic right now”, and thousands of moments where I was glad I didn’t.
