I’m expecting (hoping) that once he actually takes office he’ll be too busy running the free world to worry about making sweetheart deals with individual companies. He seems to still think he’s on the campaign trail.

Initially I think this is a good idea, but then I remember how awful it makes living in those places if taken too far. I work for a Brazilian company in the US, and the protectionism they have is comically bad. Any tariffs would need to be carefully calculated and reasonable, and I have no idea where that line is.
