Do you honestly not get the irony in saying “people should stop killing each other over people killing other people”?
Do you honestly not get the irony in saying “people should stop killing each other over people killing other people”?
That’s an interesting take, but I disagree. Even if gas prices rise to $4/gallon you’ll have plenty of people buying V8s. Also, V8s don’t really get much worse mileage than anything else of comparable power. The only point where a turbo V6 will get better mileage than an N/A V8 of similar power is when they’re…
The only point I’ll disagree with is that you should always swap out your brake pads with “track ready” pads, or at least performance pads. Stock pads or the ones you can buy from your local auto parts store often will be almost non-functional over 100mph which is not something you want to find out while going…
Yes, more potential. Add turbos to a 5-liter V8 and compare it to a 2.3L turbo 4, which do you think will make more power? If anything, we’ll see more V8s, as now they’re being offered in turbo and supercharged versions on top of naturally aspirated from a number of manufacturers (GM, Chrysler, BMW, Mercedes to name…
4 is maybe a Porsche 914?
Yes, but that’s more of an entertainment excursion. Wanting to do it for 8 hours a day, every day is entirely different.
Except that you’re just wrong. NA is better than turbo in a lot of ways, and a larger displacement NA engine offers more potential than a lower displacement turbo engine. V8s will be here as long as people keep wanting them, which will not change for a very long time.
If they want more LMP1 entries, they need to make it possible for non-hybrid cars to keep up with hybrids. Not everyone wants the extra expense and time of engineering a properly functioning hybrid system, especially when it doesn’t really apply to their road cars at all. Look at Nissan last year. Their car was…
I commute. I drive a stick. It makes the commute just a little bit less mind-numbing.
If this were really a 2016 metaphor the kid would be laying on the ground kicking and screaming at the top of his lungs how it’s totally not fair and his life is over.
Or, technically, less than half.
What you need is a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Too much power? Does not compute.
Check the price difference between the Mercedes and the Ford. You said yourself the Cadillac was nice, that’s because it is a luxury car. Try comparing the Ford to something in its price range and see how it stacks up.
Just curious, but why insist on a coupe if you’re more concerned about comfort and space than performance?
Specifically in 2 years, as the multiplayer of Ghosts and AW were both terrible.
Yep, my car is faster than all of those.
As a man with a wife and 2 kids, I agree with you. My car is mostly clutter-free, but the wife’s SUV gets purged twice per year and immediately fills up again within a week. It’s difficult to understand how so much stuff gets put into it without anything ever being removed.
I like how the video title somehow blames it on the engine.
I know this is Gawker, but yes, it does matter. It matters very much.
