I loved GT4. Actually got 100% on it after many hours of trying. That stupid Mission 34 was insane, but beating it was the best feeling I’ve ever had in a video game.

I completely agree with you.
The black one has a plexiglass side widow with a sliding hatch like a race car. Also, the olive one seems to be missing its spoiler and the tailpipes are sticking a few inches past the back of the car.
I’m pretty sure he actually had to do that in order to turn slightly left onto the street. Even with the burnout he still didn’t quite make it and ended up in some poor guy’s driveway.
People who can’t afford new tires, yes. People who just don’t care or are willing to buy new ones, no.
No clue, I just wear a belt.
Yep. Bought a similar kit a year or two ago and it’s already saved me twice. It comes in especially handy when you get a flat or puncture on a Sunday and all of the tire shops are closed.
Not that I know of, but I’m sure if spend enough money you can find one. Good force feedback should tell you everything you need to know through the steering wheel, the same as in a regular car. The only feedback you get from the pedals in a real car is brake fade (generally not simulated properly anyway) or ABS…
Wait, if you crash a helicopter you get to spend hours in the stimulator? I don’t know what the stimulator is, but it doesn’t sound like much of a punishment to me.
So is this kind of idiocy behind similar “training accidents” in the US? Or is doing flybys 5' over the water just a Greek-only kind of stupid?
GT graphics definitely have their weak spots, but overall the cars, and lighting just look so much more realistic than Forza. As Kristen said in the article, Forza cars just have that strange “cartoon” look to them where you can instantly tell they aren’t real.
Not designed, modified. Jerry-rigged, more precisely. Nothing about this car is streetable, unless your definition of street driving is staying under 30mph, avoiding any bump or incline in the road, and having the turning circle of a school bus.
Yep, which is why I said it should never be driven on the road. Also, to be clear, I think it hideous, stupid, and annoying. But, looking at it as really crappy art instead of a ruined car helps to soothe my anger.
Well now I have to watch the video.
This is no longer a car, it’s now an art piece. And just like art, some will appreciate it and others will not. Also, just like art, it should not be driven on public roads, ever. At this point he might as well just remove the wheels and let the thing sit on the hubs, it would have about the same functionality and be…
True, but there’s not that big of a difference between 9v and 11v (if that’s accurate). Still, I see your point.
Right, so will the whole process start without having a battery involved whatsoever? I would think so, just need confirmation.
I hate playing racing games with a controller. I just got one for PS4, then they delayed GT Sport (doh!). I do agree that Forza’s car selection is superior, however GT still has far more detail, better physics (besides impacts, which suck), and significantly better graphics. It’s sad that GT5 has better graphics…
Generally, yes. Yes I am.
But...autonomous cars have no drivers...
