As in being left behind or...?
With a snow brush and ice scraper. I also clean the car off when it snows, not when I need to drive. There really isn't a faster way other than parking in a garage.
The officer would have to articulate what is meant by erratically. What sounds better: “he was driving erratically” or “the vehicle would slowly drift to the shoulder, then jerk back into the lane. This happened three times in the two kilometres I was following him for.” The details and justification help, especially…
As mentioned, it's not "just because". Same reason why hunters and fishers can be asked to produce permits: it's not a right, it's a privilege, and peace peace of have been permitted the ability to check to ensure people are licensed and sober for public protection.
So, this law got blown out of proportion. Police would need a reason to make you blow. So, if someone calls in that a person is driving erratically, the driver is clearly identified, police find them at home within two hours, and they fail, that would be the most extreme case. If the driver cannot be confirmed as the…
Yep. The vehicle can't be searched without probable cause, but you can be stopped. I guess it falls under the same reason RIDE checkpoints are legal, in that police are allowed to confirm you are following the law when driving.
Interesting attempt at a defence. Impaired driving investigations have a boatload of case law around them. At least here in Canada, his defence of no lawful reason for stopping him would be overruled by the fact that police here can stop any vehicle at any time to confirm the driver is licensed, the vehicle is…
Things that sound great in practice: version that’s good on gravel road (which would be perfect with where I live).
Doing my part!
Looks like the new Mustang Mach -E.
Huh, the more you know! Thanks for the clarification!
Clearly donking all our small cars to make them taller is the only solution.
Meanwhile, as everyone goes over the price for updating a car that will need updating in the future, people miss the line mentioning they'll do a factory manual swap.
Those late 90s/early 2000s sports and racing games had the best soundtracks. Pretty sure Burnout 3: Takedown inspired my whole musical taste.
Not going to lie, a stalker/slasher movie using surveillance at a summer camp sounds awesome (ignoring how horrifying it is in the real world). I would like to buy a ticket preemptively, please.
Social services is always notified in these kinds of cases (at least, where I am they are).
In discussions with the Crown prosecution about some files, we spoke about a file where a family left their baby in the back seat of the car, forgot about it, and it froze to death in -40. Unfortunately, proving criminal negligence is really hard in these cases, because it’s not like there’s this gross negligence, as…
As someone who doesn’t care about the Corvette, the targa roof is awesome.
So basically, this is the Mercedes version of the Chevy Orlando?
