    Super Kinja’d.

I had a roommate (French chick) in university who set the kitchen on fire. Her friend had moved in with her against our lease, and together one night they were cooking a pot of oil. It boiled over, it caught fire, my buddy grabbed the flaming pot and threw it outside into the snow (-40 puts out grease fires easily!)

I’m heading back to Toronto for the first time in over a year and I’m definitely going to be headed to Burger’s Priest. Need a High Priest Vatican Style to make my arteries suffer.

I saw Metric play on Canada Day on Parliament Hill back in 2016. Thought it was a pretty good show.

Business uses famous brand to make money, more news at eleven. People clearly buy these things, I don’t see any incentive as to why BMW wouldn’t M-ify more models. Besides, doesn’t this site champion absurd and powerful cars?

Brave to do a drive like that. And I feel like EV trucks would be huge out here for the torque.

They’re getting there, slowly but surely. Thing is, here in Saskatchewan where it routinely hits -40 and below (such as -50 last week), I can imagine it’ll be even worse. Add the fact that everything here is so far spread apart, and you start running into range anxiety fast. For example, apparently the first gen Leaf

Was Subaru the Outback ever cool, or is it just nostalgia goggles acting up again?

Dammit, now how am I supposed to watch the Machinima classic “The Trees Have Lasers”?

And yet, my Pixel 2 remains all the phone I need for now (minus storage space).

Looks good. Curious as to how it’ll be priced, and if that will in turn affect the price of the GT86.

“Two-door sedan” is just as absurd as “four-door coupe”.

Why doesn’t Jalopnik have a Wikipedia page? Well, this was Ray Wert’s for a while, so I imagine the trolling that would happen would be roughly the same.

“We want a hatchback STi! Wait, they put out a hatcback STi concept that doesn’t look the way we want it to? We don’t want this!”

If I remember correctly, the fighter jet animation was from when he reached Newfoundland, where he gets escorted by some CF-18s. There was also another animation of him flying through NYC, with remarks about him missing the twin towers or something like that. It’s been a while and hopefully they upgraded the animation

It has to do with the field of view, from what I’ve been told. Which is why I never finished Bioshock on the 360 or Half-Life 2 on the PC due to how awful they made me feel.

Drive for the conditions. Slow it down, keep a good following distance, and if it's really miserable out, stay home if you can.

Excellent review. I wanted to import one, but prices. However, the slightly more absurd route of the Avantime, while a much different experience, seems possible.

Hey, it hasn’t been -40 in like, two weeks. It’s pretty good right now.

I’ve still got my full 24 hour day.
