I adore that he (or one of his assistants—as you point out is probably who signs most of these!) wrote "Sweet dreams, 'Freddy'" on your autographed photos. Pretty darn amazing! :)

PS: I wouldn't feel bad about the forgeries. It's still a treat to the recipient. If anyone who writes is really a fan, all they want is to

Greg Evigan? I adored his funny character on My Two Dads (never saw him on BJ & the Bear, though).

Plus, you got a personalized postcard from Stephen King and a photo of Garfield signed by Jim Davis? Both are so fantastic. Thanks for leaving your memories on my post. They made me smile... and want to write Jim Davis

Now that is a fantastic autograph! So jealous.

(I know you can't see me but with the hand that isn't typing I'm giving you a Vulcan salute.)

Thanks for leaving your awesome story!

That is so awesome. Lucky you! She was always my favorite of the von Trapp children. I wrote to Julie Andrews and she sent me a generic letter with what seemed to be a legitimately real signed photo. Thanks for taking the time to leave your story. :)

Now that's a funny story! ;)

OMG, you totally made me snort laugh. Feel me up, Scotty—oof!

A letter and a signed bookmark? Pretty darn cool!

Now he was a super hottie. I am totally going to be singing the Party's "That's Why" in my head for the rest of the night—and I'm *not* complaining. Thank you for taking the time to leave your story on my post.

Also, how cool are Pearl Jam? That's rad.

Oh no! Your Carrie Fisher brush-off breaks my heart, especially considering your super kind gesture. Let's blame the USPS and hope that either they lost your note or lost her reply because surely she would have sent you a very grateful response, no? :)

Maybe your letter to Richard got lost in the mail? Let's go with that? (I have no potential excuse for the Twitter rudeness, though—ack!)

PS: I love that you mentioned your friend wrote to Michael Damian. Hiliarous... I remember it all like it was yesterday. Rock on! Oh, the late '80s/early '90s were a time of wonder!

Totally a boss. Maybe even more so now? Love it. ⚯͛

Oh no! The Boxcar Children was a life-changing set of reads for me, too, so I can only imagine how devastating it was when you learned the reason for her non-reply. I do love that you were so into her books that you took the time to write to her, though. I'm sure had she been alive that you would have received the

"It's one of my prized possessions, but I don't display it. I keep it secret, I keep it safe." <— Perfection. The truth is out there, and it's that you were smart enough to write him when he was super swoon-worthy!

Also, I too had a teenage-era Duchovny-inspired Fox Mulder crush, but I never thought to write him.

No objections here. I am found guilty of not having anything that can trump that except perhaps my Oprah autograph, but I never got to meet her so you obviously win. Case closed. (Sorry, I couldn't resist all the puns.) Thank you for sharing your amazing photos on my silly little post. They are so awesome to see. <3

"I think I had also drawn crude pictures of us kissing, but thankfully my Dad didn't find those." <— This. <3

Now that is awesome and puts my Tatum story to shame. Love love love!

Wow—I always liked the Who but now it seems like I should also be obsessed with Pete Townshend singularly. What a thoughtful gent!

Also, gotta love Richard Simmons. He's the best. He really does live for his fans. <3

Hurrah for celeb connections made via Twitter. I shared DMs with RuPaul way back in the day about using

A framed (and personalized) Fabio photo on your desk sounds like the best office accessory ever.

You have good taste—so in love with all of these!

Re: Harrison... I would have totally done the same thing if I had ever received a Han Solo autographed photo. Actually, I would still do that today (the kiss-and-frame thing, that is).

Also: Judy Blume and Richard Simmons are bonafide national treasures. Very jealous of

Wow! That collection of letters sounds like a set of treasures. :)
