OMG! That's crazy. Oates was the brunette. Good memory! Re: Huey: Let's just hope he was having a bad night? Despite everything, I am a little Anne Frank about it and hope that deep down, he's really good at heart and maybe just misunderstood?

I saved up my money just after graduating college and took my mom to see

Thanks for leaving your story on my post. That's amazing about Judy Blume. I adore her, so I'm jealous that she wrote to you. I wish I had been smart enough to think to send her a note. And Charles Shultz, too? You have the jackpot. <3

Love this and love hearing that Meg Cabot is the class act I always hoped she was.

I makes sense that she would write a lovely note back to a real fan just from how sweet and real she is on her blog and in her books. Love love love!

Now that's a lovely response! I wrote to Christian Bale during my Swing Kids phase, but he didn't reply.... obviously I should have been as charming as you were in your note to Robert Sean Leonard. "You can't listen to this and not dance!"

That is such a great story! Thanks for sharing it.

So cool! I wrote to Tim Taylor for my dad, and I framed the autograph as a birthday gift for him. He had the picture posted up in his workshop for years. When I wrote this blog, he dug it out for me to photograph and post to Flickr. He forgot he took it down for some reason, and he said he's going to put it up again.

Aw, try the original soprano goddess: Julie Andrews! She sent me a really sweet form letter and signed photo. The hills *are* alive. :)
