All of them guilty: Driving too fast for conditions.
All of them guilty: Driving too fast for conditions.
I put about 30K miles on one of these around 2002-2003. During my time with it, I only had to replace a seized brake caliper and a fuel pump (which did leave us on the side of the road), but otherwise performed commendably.
I rage-replied to that state department post on X before it got fact-checked (I’m Panamanian) and within 1 second got knocked off X. As I was closing my X account it suddenly started working again. Hmm.
Buahaha. They are still clueless.
I, um, just want to see both car dealerships and the Volkswagen Group collapse and burn. Yes.
I laugh at how Biden, Trump, U. S. and European auto industry execs think/thought they can somehow slow or contain China’s growth and dominance over automobile markets. At least Japan and Korea have the right ideas and attitude for survival. We’ve entered the consequences stage of unchecked corporate greed/dollar as a…
I still cannot comprehend how people exist who are willing to spend an arm and a leg on a car to not drive it, in the same planet where chauffeurs, limos, taxis, rideshare, and buses are a thing.
26-year-old me probably wouldn’t have made it out of Central Park before getting caught anyway.
The very first Gravity out of the assembly line and it’s fucking grey. Ugh
I’m all for making inattentive and reckless drivers suffer, but a school zone needs TONS more done to be made truly safe, and no speed camera/fine/ticketing scheme is enough. There need to be more chicanes, pinch points, roundabouts, speed bumps, and physical barriers to make speeding in or near school zones impossible…
Completely irrelevant post from a DMV+DOT semi-equivalent in a banana republic:
I can probably forgive the headlight lenses I can fix myself, but Who TF specs beautiful Alpina turbine wheels with black powder coat? Automatic ND right there. It just doesn’t work with Alpina Blue.
I’d take it as is for 10,500. Driven at night, no one can tell if it’s black, dark gray, brown or purple, let alone tell the make and model. Perfect getaway car. Doesn’t need to be fast when it blends in. No badging? Made for shenanigans.
The U.S. government is forbidden from shooting down alien drones.
Alien drones are the original drones. We got the concept of a remotely operated flying craft from aliens. We don’t want to shoot those down. They also tend to hover around suspected nuclear arsenals. The only doubt the military has as to their origin is wether these are pleiadian, reptilian, arcturian or other.
Agreed 100% let’s avoid the collision in the first place: let’s ban cars from cities and neighborhoods. Restrict their speeds by raising all crosswalks to sidewalk level and prioritize all pedestrian and cyclist movements over cars. Completely ban them from school zones. Give (back) people outside of cars plenty of…
You know cyclists were on all roads before cars became popular right? And just so you know, we cyclists have not yet relinquished our right to get around and use streets and roads.
100% bad choices, not fact of life.
It’s like Lincoln/Ford are actively trying to have children run over by their own parents. These behemoth vehicles need to die by fire
Not the trucks, it’s the fire departments that will oppose all traffic calming proposals meant to recover space for people in human environments. They are the main reason you have to sit and wait at a traffic light instead of moving continuously through a roundabout for example. Their outdated opinion carries too much…
