Same here. Been rooted on previous phone and used CyanogenMod. Don't want to root this one. Would also like to use any of my Note 3's three buttons for camera. It doesn't bother me enough to want to root though.

That end unit is $50 from IKEA. Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just get some plywood and paint from Home Depot and build it without using "a hack"?

Instead of a plant, this doubles up as a central place to put your keys, which makes sense if you're putting on or taking off shoes. Keep a little bowl here so there's a 'feature' keeping it neat. Once everyone's in the habit of putting them here you'll never lose them again.

Yep.. been there. I had to find a way to store at least 90+ pairs of shoes just in my garage entryway. And I just ended up doing the old standard closetemaid wire racks on a track, mounted with their "shoe brackets" (which just hangs their 12" racks at an angle... and voila, it becomes a shoe rack).

I found if you put rubber cement in there, you end up with a limited slip diff. I was surprised to find that it works, but my brothers best friends cousin is a race car driver and he swears by it.

Especially with the new organic synthetic fluids that are coming out. They're pricey, but worth it for the long haul.

The one I have used for years at work:
Dark and minimalistic

While not a widget, I use Popup Widget on every device I have. When used in combo with custom launcher like Nova Launcher, I can swipe up on the app and have it launch the widget I assign for it. So I have all of the power of the widget with non of the clutter on my homescreen.

Widgets are amazing. It's why I'll never own an iOS device. Well, that and Apple's price tags ...and their patent trolling ...and pretty much their entire ethos, but I digress.
