I love those whitewalls so much.

I saw that truck in Kauai. I just started screaming “Yes!”

The “heavy duty” badge at the rear makes that both equally funny and depressing.

So it will be a BLS from 2009? (Europe only)

When your country decides to actually provide decent paid maternity leave, then perhaps we’ll talk. Till then....nope. You don’t get to whine about this.

The kid didn’t scream. And the author had a plan in place to remove her in case she did. I’ve had my kid at work a bunch of times, even when he was small. I worked in QA for a startup software company, and we did what was necessary to make release. If we had to bring the kid so we could work a night or weekend, we

Oh for fuck’s sake. The attitude that you can’t go to someplace without your kid because it’s “professional” and that you need to have a babysitter or child-keeper at all times is anti-feminist to the core and supports notions that the only people who “deserve” to reproduce are the affluent.

Major potential

Hmm, nothing about this car suggests it’s an “XJR Vanden Plas”. That name implies that it was supercharged, but there’s no under-hood picture to confirm or deny this, and IIRC the tach is supposed to say “supercharged” if it actually was. In either case, it would’ve been labeled a “Vanden Plas Supercharged” rather

Mr. Torchinsky, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Loving Beetles since I was a kid, I’ve been scared, then dismissive, apologetic, then bored by the whole connection. Unfortunately it seems anyone who says this stuff isn’t the type to share Small Wonder or another “history of” with, or even my hackeneyed

Nice collection. I’ve got an ‘02 9-3 SE, and I’m likely to try to grab a classic 900 turbo at some point. The ‘80s Saabs are indestructible.

Damn Honda build quality! :) Awesome line up you got there...
Ah, the 9-4x. I’d love to get one someday but they’re all so terribly expensive, and the prices don’t seem to be dropping. Makes sense of course, considering the fact they’re rarer than most supercars!

I’m definitely a SAAB enthusiast from the days of checking the trollhattansaab blog almost daily for years, it all started after getting an ‘02 9-5 sedan 2.3 when I was 17, 25 now. I have since bought my mom’s ‘07 9-5 sportcombi & love that whip with modern conveniences like aux & sat. radio loll Eventually my future

Saab all the way. I’d love to drive a 9000 one day...

Which ones do you have? I drive a ‘99 9-5 2.3 sedan and I love it to death. Smooth, powerful and understated. And those seats...
Drove a ‘96 900 before that, loved it too.

Honestly don’t see myself driving anything else than Saab for the next decade or longer. Might eventually upgrade to a 9-5 estate (the dame edna one)

Start ‘em young would have to be applied with a CC limit. Yeah, I started with a 750 at the age of 33yrs old. But, if I had a even a 400 had a teenager, I would have been in trouble. Hell, a low powered car (parents shit-tastic Malibu) barely contained me.

When it comes to cars i have an unhealthy obsession with Saabs. while only currently on my second 9000 i have sank far too much money and time into this car already but fully intend on fixing this weeks problem and keeping this car for the very long haul.

Same. I used to read stories about child abductors and even kids that die from disease and fell sad for the child and his/her family and friends, but then go about my day.

I mean, what is a modern SUV besides a minivan with smaller rear doors? Look at a Chevy Suburban vs Honda Odyssey. The ‘Burb can tow more at the expense of fuel burn and ride quality. Other than that, the experience is negligibly different.

Becoming a father, I’ve learned that not only would I straight up murder someone that tried to harm my boys, but I would go to the ends of the earth and back to find them if they were to ever disappear.
