So, you are potentially going to deny yourself some seriously awesome vehicles (Porsche/Audi, and I love my Golf-R) because some jabroni on the internet tried to get cute-sy with VAG by stripping his car down the before drop off for some LOLZ and internet fame? Really? If so, your face never really liked your nose

If you milk it you can get 34mpg on long highway trips, but yeah my right for it too heavy for that.

Ugh, that gas mileage.

It’s not always so bad

Try to stay out of the red zone on that gauge on the right.

I was sitting in a mall parking lot with my son waiting for my wife (story of our lives ammmirite?). At the time I had a blue Prius C2 with tinted windows. We had been there maybe 5 minutes and an identical C2, blue, tinted windows, parked caddy-corner of us one row over, I pointed it out to my son as a coincidence.

That’s hot.

I will NEVER marry someone who makes me give up cars I love. Just wouldn’t do it. If they loved me, they would know how much the car meant to me and would want me to keep it until I’m ready to move on.

Hardest thing I ever did was sell my first car, a turbocharged Plymouth Sundance Duster that ran 12s in the quarter and took first place at a bunch of car shows. The person I was married to at the time made me sell it, and then she cleaned out her closets and disappeared a month later.

I cried about that car leaving,

Fenders say it’s a Ram. It’s an homage, but it’s not THE stair car.

I think most real Saab owners keep a spare DIC in their trunk. I know I do for my 9k.

Haha yup. I also keep an extra crankshaft position sensor around too for obvious reasons.

I approve this message.

Unffffff. Aero wagon.. I don’t care how many gremlins I’ll have to troubleshoot. It’s so damn Swedish and sexy.

One of these please, and thank you.

Don’t go to work—quit your life and do Saab things in your Saab!

David, I don’t think you are wrong here, but I think there is another way to look at it; choice. The truth of the Ridgeline is that its a Crossover truck and just like crossovers (that don’t really get that much better mileage to their truck counterparts...think Tahoe VS Traverse) I don’t think that MPG alone is the

Great truck and great article. One correction, the Frontier nameplate didnt come out until the redesign for MY 1998. Before that it was just the Hardbody. I’ve had one of each. Great trucks and way under rated.

messed up a car, yeah, but cars are meant to be driven, not as museum pieces.

Am I in the minority in that I tend to walk past all of the supercars at C&C events? It is always the old/obscure/unique cars that catch my eye. I’ve found their owners tend to have a story, while the supercar owners tend to have nothing more than a fat wallet
