Really hoping a naturally aspirated model makes it to production.

If Ford keeps this up Jeep might have to, gasp, make power widows STANDARD?!

I think you mean “North America”, but you’re right, Halifax Assembly plant shouldn’t be erased from history.

They left us alone and had the patience as an investor not to take our money but to reinvest it in a new product portfolio.

You can have AWD on the V60, provided you spring for the $67,000 Polestar...

did any other auto manufacturer increase sales in 2019Q4? i haven’t been paying close attention, but it seems like everyone else kind of shit the bed.

I’m admittedly biased since I am a Volvo owner, but I would happily throw myself into debt if they ever brought back the C30 with their current design language. Make the turbo 4 the base engine at about 200-240hp (similar to the I5 output of the last gen) and offer a PHEV option. Hell, I would even be happy with a V40

“Volvo Keeps Doing This”
From the photo, I thought you meant they make every car in their lineup look exactly the same :P
(Not a bad thing, actually... when you develop a brand identity that handsome, why not exploit it for all it’s worth?)

But remember, Tesla sold the car on 11/15. When they did the audit, they were no longer the owners of the car.

I’m mad about it and it didn’t even happen to me..... This is pretty horse shit... Essentially Tesla messed up and sent out a car with features it shouldn’t have had, then remotely disabled them.... nah that’s crap. They messed up, they need to eat the cost.

No, it’s just correct at this point. Whatever this company may have been in the past, it’s just an overpriced toy for fat middle-aged dentist who feels the need for attention by breaking noise regulations. Nobody wants a Harley anymore nor should they. And as to evolving with the times, doubt it, I’m scared to drive

Harley seems to be clamoring for new markets and new customers, and is doing so with cruisers and electric motorcycles. Cruisers don’t seem to appeal to their new target audience and electric motorcycles are still a niche industry with relatively slow growth. Why aren’t they using their vested infrastructure and power

So intake piping doesn’t count..? Even without them I’d bet money on the LT4 being narrower. The timing chain and VVT stuff probably make the Blackwing longer, don’t forget about those downpipes you mentioned... they have to be routed behind the engine, while the LT4 can be pushed closer to the firewall. It’s probably

GM: “No.  That might cut into profits a bit on our next quarterly earnings report.  And we can’t have that.”

The ultimate “fuck you” Cadillac was the Sixteen, and they didn’t have the balls to do it.

That’s pretty much what Lincoln was doing until they finally sobered up. Cadillac is probably on more than just valium.

It seems like the only logical solution now is to build an entire brand new car around this engine. Not just a run of the mill “Premium Sedan.” A full blown beast that just screams “Fuck you!” to anyone who looks at it. A complete exercise in opulence and arrogance.

The LT4 is neither shorter in length nor height than the blackwing, and it’s barely any narrower. Remember, there’s no exhaust to route on the outside of the blackwing.

I feel like developing a twin turbo V8 and then only using it on one short-lived model is kind of a waste.

Sweet, another Cadillac that no one will purchase.
