Eh, picked one up for the wife 3.5 years ago, and would totally disagree with this statement. Was an almost-new (7k miles) car that we picked up at a pretty significant discount from new, and it’s been great for what it is, a runty little runabout. It’s no FiST, but then again don’t think it ever was really trying to

They’re equally hideous. Why you’d add chrome trim on something that aspires to be a GTI-like hot hatch is baffling. Price is also too high, this thing’s deep into CP territory.

You don’t think the styling is just quirky enough? 🧐

So not true, and I’m speaking with 73,000 miles of use.  It could be that lesser trim have less sound deadening than mine.  It’s not quiet, but not bad at all.  Sorry, but at least as stable as other small cars I’ve owned.  If you want to know what it feels like to be blown around while passing a semi at 80, do it in

I like the orange, but I wouldn’t be able to look at that fake wood every day.

I came here to post this. Did they really paint a picture of an extended grille on to the surround?

oh god... what the hell are these things? Why would you do that? that looks terrible!

Will Toyota ever release a next generation 4runner?  My wife loves the TRD Pros, but can’t stand how absolutely ancient the 4runner feels inside.

My thought as well. A 450ish CI gas V8 is going to be a fuel hog, but it’ll cost thousands less than the diesel so there might be a decent take rate. So pay up front for the oil-burner or pay at the pump for years with the gasser.

The diesel engine is close to $10,000 more than the gas, the 7.3L will likely be more like a $1000 upcharge.

Just speaking for myself, the maximum rating only matters in that I know the truck will feel more confident towing 50-75% of it than a smaller or older truck would be towing near it’s capacity. I’ll never need to tow 20,000 lb, but a truck that’s capable of that will be a better rig to tow 10,000 than an F150 that

Jorah Mormont?

I just don’t know how anyone can pay more than $100 for a pair of sneakers. Back in the day, I’d spend $120 ($200 nowadays with inflation) for a pair of Jordans or Air Max. Nowadays, I can’t be bothered to spend over $50 for sneakers.

I can see why you’d have to have a premium sound system in order to have a lightweight washer fluid bottle. That makes perfect sense to me.

Tribal is never going out of style.

Never do that. He drove around for two weeks with his high beams on because he was too lazy to replace a $15 bulb in his Honda Fit.

When I special ordered my Ram back in 2014, I got to choose the brown interior instead of the black. So I have a pretty good idea how this feels.

“decided”

Phoebe Bridgers, probably my favorite artist of the moment (sidenote: everyone should hear the Stranger in the Alps B-sides, especially Radar), has an uncanny knack for teaming up with people from the limited pool of music I listen to. I had just enjoyed Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus’ latest releases when boygenius was

I wonder if gm will stick to their “our customers don’t tow more than 30,000 lbs so we don’t rate it that high” line? i don’t necessarily disagree, i just wonder if they’ll drop that this time around and fight in the mud with the other trucks.
