Sure, he calls EVs “soulless,”

Most likely scenario: a graphic designer did this as a joke because the NYPD sucks, performative Pride sucks, and ACAB. No one caught it because they’re dumb.

Really though, I would guess there’s a good chance this isn’t some graphic designer “tricking” the NYPD and likely someone within the NYPD thinking they’re sticking it to the ACAB crowd re-purposing their acronym.

I’m certain that Britian will respond by immediately giving back almost everything in their museums that they “collected” over the centuries...

My daily driver is a 2+2 RWD coupe that’s under 3000 lbs. It’s comfortable, engaging to drive, and I’m able to do all the maintenance myself. Until there’s something comparable out there, I’m frankly not interested in a BEV. I don’t need 500 miles of range or a 3-second 0-60: 250 miles and 5 seconds, respectively,

There isn’t a 2+2 convertible out yet.

Eh, nearly every car has a red and blue variant so I wouldn’t count those. Now purple would be interesting.

ThatVanGuy needs to come to this realization: ThatVanGuy is not willing to compromise.”  There, FTFY.  Other people are willing to compromise, as the Model Y’s sales figures show.

That seems highly unlikely. I have an Ioniq 5 and the absolute worst range I’ve seen is just under 300 km (200 miles) in windy, sub-zero conditions at highway speeds, with the best being over 500 km (310 miles). I live in a part of Canada where it drops to -20 celsius at some points during the winter, and gets to

The class action suit against Stellantis over the revival of the Durango Hellcat for 2023 just proves that history DOES repeat itself.

The thing is none of this is necessary.
Nobody needs a vehicle like this. It’s entirely a luxury. I could see some arguments for like a F150 lightning being genuinely useful, but not this thing.

Don’t know about that. With that many kwh they should be able to get over 600 miles of range. They are barely squeezing out 1/2 of that. This thing is not a solution - it is emblematic of the problem.

Compared to it’s 12mpg predecessor, in terms of CO2 output the Hummer EV is a gigantic leap forward.

Honestly this thing is an affront to a carbon-free/reduced future. It is an abomination. It’s maker(s) should be tarred and feathered.

Sheesh, I saw the lede image and thought it was the 2-series Sedan. Same basic shape, upsized and with fewer linear surfaces:

The aesthetic, the sound, the feeling, the music. You have to be a bit dead inside not to feel something from this ad. Dodge, love or hate them, and Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis know how to make good commericals:

Because of the gun nuts, or because it’s literally on top of a volcano?

If it’d had the I6 from the other 43s, they’d have my attention but....a 4-cylinder.....nah.

Why would anyone pay attention to his butthole farts when so many are flying out of his mouth?
