I didn’t realize supermarket shelves were lined with cars.

Which is a rebadged Mitsubishi or Changan. Selling someone else’s work isnt a great way to make money in cars.

This feels like the 2nd most obvious car Stellantis should have been working on (1st being an ev platform). They can sell a midsize truck truly around the world. Ram can use it here, Fiat where they sell their little car based truck, and Peugeot can stop selling the Chinese one they’re borrowing.

I’m responding to your issue with the author’s statement of no one needs a truck as big as the Silverado. The rest of the world functions without fullsize trucks, so in a literal sense, yes you dont need it.

Um 16' lumber doesn’t fit in a fullsize truck either. Even with a 8' bed thats like half hanging out and most are 4 door, short beds. So your left with getting one of those hitch extendo arm things, which fit in midsize trucks too.

You’re not regularly rebuilding retaining walls though right? You could of done another trip to the store and had a Colorado, otherwise known as the size of truck the rest of the world uses.
