It looks like the government lost money (few billion) on GM and Chrysler stocks, and I’m assuming the low interest rate loan for Ford doesn’t make money.  

I was wrong to use “bailout”. BUT all three took government money and all 3 are cutting small cars. Point still stands.

Gov loans still come from our money. Also IIRC GM and FCA have paid back their bailouts and Ford is still paying back it’s loan.

Theres a plant close to me that makes the LaCrosse, CT6, Impala and Volt.

I just hope they learned from a decade ago and for example, they could quickly bring the Fiesta over here if something happened.

They made small cars overseas before too, still took 2 years to get the Fiesta to America.

Its not selfish when our tax money pays to bail out said company for a few years.
