The Flash has worn the same damn thing for over 50 years. Red, yellow lightning motif, ear things... The most anyone dares to do is add lines to it.

The guy had legitimate reasons for not wanting to do it.

What open ended answers do you give?

Yep. Though, to be honest I can’t remember the last time I pirated a game... Between Steam and Humble Bundle (especially now that you can return Steam games if they suck) and whatnot, it’s just become less of a hassle to buy than to pirate. :P

Colossus really does look fantastic. Even if I weren’t cautiously optimistic about the entire movie, they got that one thing right.

In fairness, his “lame Deathstroke rip-off” status was less a lame rip-off and more 100% total satirical sendup. Not that you should like it because of that, but calling it a rip-off is a little simplistic.

Perhaps the MTV, Spike, and VH1 viewers are different crowds? Regardless, as long as my design becomes a t-shirt, I’m happy!

Counterpoint: At least, in my circle of friends, the Deadpool marketing is drawing in people who otherwise don’t really care about superhero movies at all. For some reason, it’s getting interest even amongst my *ahem* stodgier friends, who are way more likely to go see a foreign language film in a theater that serves

Exactly. To be honest, I think the Deadpool marketing is doing a great job of reflecting the unsubtlety of Deadpool. The creative team truly understand their source material, and that’s awesome.

He will always be Mike Hannigan

yes

You got it dude. Marvel warms my heart and regardless of any opinions out there it will always be one of my ‘things’. Discussing passions rationally and respectfully has only helped me lead some non-believers towards the light :)

First off, thank you for the civil tone, much appreciated. I guess i just got ‘spoiled’ by all the prior gifts from Marvel that this one just didn’t ‘fit’ with the rest of the universe, it almost felt like it took place in a different world (if it wasn’t for Rudd saying “we should bring in the Avengers”). I only wish

I’ve heard others also not liking Ant Man but I’ve got to say I liked it much more than I thought I would. Tp me it felt more ‘personal’ than other superhero movies.

Not a jab, but I think Ant-man is my favorite Marvel movie to date. It’s very much an origins story without being over-the-top... Heck, it’s barely even a superhero movie... it’s more of a heist movie with sci-fi and superhero bits....

Apparently I’m better off.

“Childish”, “nonsensical”, “intellectually shallow”...

It is, absolutely, what you described and that’s why I like it. It’s such a different kind of show than the rest of TV right now (not to mention pretty to look at) and I think there’s a place for a show like this. It’s also only good at small doses and the choice to keep it 3 episodes a season is strategic IMO, and

I liked the episode alright, but felt like the ‘Blocking’ and ‘Cookie’ concepts should have just given their own full episodes. They fit together just enough to justify the anthology concept of the special, but I didn’t fell like they really complimented each other in a way that enhanced their story potential.

Is this the part where we all pretend we didn’t “fly to England” and watch this a year ago?

/just means I’ve been haunted by it for that much longer...
