Having a prominent person makes a big difference to a marginalized community.  For deaf and hard of hearing youngsters, having someone signing the lyrics on a popular music tour would mean a lot.  I’m glad that Matlin uses her fame for the well being of others.

Best Years of Our Lives is a great film, but it does not show “the horrors of war”. There is one character with injuries from the war, and it’s not depicted as a source of horror.

good or bad, i hope it shuts up all the people who consistently bray about the woke police and how mel brooks would never be able to make movies today.

The first movie is not great but there are few really good site gags and the Inquisition musical number is easily one of the best things Brooks has ever done
