Oh god no.
Oh god no.
Norm MacDonald. Though with Norm, the problem might be that he would start to play the game along with the contestants.
Norm Macdonald. Keep it Canadian. Failing that - his brother, veteran journo Neil Macdonald.
Andy Richter deserves consideration
John Hodgman is an amazing choice. He’d be great.
And you are underplaying Claire McNear. Yes, she literally wrote the book on the history of Jeopardy!, but she’s also the reason Mike Richards is gone as host (and maybe executive producer?).
Oh, don’t do that. Homophobia doesn’t literally mean scared of gay people. The phrasing is also used to refer to dislike or prejudice. This isn’t new, and you’re being disingenuous.
As loud as the coverage got it was only a matter of time. Still surprised it happened so quickly. And now they’re reverting to guest hosts again? Just give it to one of the hosts you already had. Some were actually good.
I’m definitely more interested in this now that they’re showing off more of the grand cosmic weirdness of the movie. It has more of a 70's cosmic sci-fi vibe than Jack Kirby clutter vibe, but that’s okay. The Deviants still just look like cgi sludge.
It looks gorgeous, but I’m just not much of a fan of of those oversized creatures they’re fighting. I don’t really know what alternative direction I’d like them to take, but these wrestling matches with generic alien monsters all go the same way: they’ll roll around furiously, the creature will have the hero pinned…
Wow, OK. I understand why they waited so long to show the Deviants. They are ... yeah. Weightless CGI squiggle monsters from planet generica.
“So why didn’t you stop Gary Glitter?”
Ahem, excuse me, the corporate shilling is for Hyundai.
Or...it could mean the Venom movies are just as connected as the Raimi ones are in the MCU. Seriously, I get that people want to find any connection at all possible and then bang out some clickbait (I’m sure there will be plenty of 20 minute YouTube theory videos just from this spoiler) but this one seems like its…
This one is an A in my book. I really loved the conceit that T’Challa would reform the Ravagers and the effects that would spiral out from that. Thanos and Korath were great fun in their new roles. I do wonder what happened with Ronan, and if they’re going to be making a conscious effort to avoid the Infinity Stones…
Future headline:
Every so often I wonder if I’m missing anything by not watching anime, but then I see a trailer like this and realize no, I’m good.
Yay, a Will Harris Random Roles, with someone who had a lot of interesting things to say!
This review is unbelievably positive when the truth is that season 1 struggled a LOT to come up with a steady tone/through plot.
I would prefer my Jeopardy hosts to not vaguely be anti science or a sexual harsser. Is that too hard to ask?
Me: I want Levar, but as long as it’s not that anti-vax slut-shaming wacko Bialik I’ll be ok.
