I fly a King Air so I’m familiar with the process. It’s the rapid rate of change that causes problems, so if the cabin wasn’t pressurizing it wouldn’t be a big issue as they probably held at a lower altitude to sort things out. But if they climbed quickly with the cabin altitude still high I can see now how that would

“buy ICE cars which never catch on fire after an accident”

The alternative headline for this should be “Tesla catches on fire after accident like every other car can, killing two people, but even though there were probably a dozen other car accidents last week alone where the car caught on fire, we’re reporting on it

So if I’m reading you right, none of us should be buying cars capable of exploding in an impact? Also, we need to be sure nothing about the purchase of the vehicle or its fuel source funds any fascist oligarchs, right?  No problem!

Respect the GOAT. The LS400 will cart you and yours through town and across the country forever, and they’ll still carting your descendants through the wasteland in comfort long after civilization collapses.

A 1999 Mercury Cougar. To me, as my first new car, it was the most luxurious vehicle ever made. Sporty red, with that sleek new edge styling, paired with brand new seats and a working sound system. I’ve been in more expensive luxury cars since, but nothing compares to that first experience of new car ownership.

Stellantis is a money laundering scheme at this point right? I have no explanation for this.

At Stellantis, we have no fucking clue what you want to buy, and frankly, we don’t fucking care, either. We’ll keep making cars hardly anyone wants to buy, and there’s no amount of logic or reason that will tell us otherwise.  Fuck you, America.

Jeep missed the point of the Wagoneer. They were rugged/luxury vehicles in the 80s. They are suppose to compete with the Land Rovers and Land Cruisers, not Suburbans and Expeditions.

They did the right thing AFTER all the bad press. They’d have been happy to not pay out and just have the story go away.

In all levels of football, if the ball is snapped before the clock expires, the kick counts.

Who hires the pilots.

Who hires the pilots.

Like I hate to have to defend this couch fucking never ordered a doughnut in his like shit bag, but this has nothing to do with him, other than it was his campaign plane. This is 100% on the pilot now knowing what the fuck he was doing or where he was going.

Too bad it didn’t get shot down.

The guy’s house was “hit by 20 bullets during a gunfight” earlier in the year. How is the house still operating as an AirBnB? What has to happen for the platform to delist the house? Why did the guy not file a civil suit over the shooting? How is the parking infraction his biggest concern? How could he possibly be the

Not the asshole:

If implemented, it would apply to all vehicles weighing 10,000 pounds or less

It’s a step in the right direction, but I hope it’ll eventually lead to other more extreme measures taken, like weight restrictions on vehicles in areas with greater population density, namely large cities. Parked my motorcycle next to a GMC Heavy Duty 2500 King Cab Long Ranch (whatever....sue me) and the darn thing

This assumes the driver is looking in the first place, but we have to admit, front-end visibility is getting much worse on new SUVs, especially compared to the sedans and station wagons of yore.
