There’s a part of me that wants to see this come to fruition, and I can just sit back with a bag of popcorn and watch the shenanigans unfold.

I believe the planes themselves were designed and built all in Canada, so it would make sense most of them live there and just get deployed out to other locations as needed.

Lately, it’s also turning into an EV charging hotspot. There’s the OG Tesla charger on the west side of town, a newer charging station behind Starbucks, and a new Rivian charger coming to Safeway.

But otherwise, yes, it’s our go-to stop for a quick McD’s flyby for breakfast on the way to the slopes.

Now playing

Aptly timed video on YT this morning highlighting the work Rivian does to check for smooth software rollouts. Obviously, Rivian hasn’t been perfect, but wanted to share more for what goes into general testing of an OTA update.

Except it’s not. Congestion pricing funds public transit, which ultimately benefits the not-rich-assholes more than anyone. Additionally, those that choose to walk or bike also benefit from reduced cars clogging every damn intersection in Manhattan. Most beneficial would be bus rides, generally used by the lowest

There was also chatter about possible IEDs in other locations along Bourbon St, which may have required other individuals to place. I don’t believe I ever saw confirmation, so treat it purely as rumor, but it’s one possible path.

Additionally, “accomplices” may mean other hits were planned but not carried out (i.e.

Hold my cervesa...

TBF, AWD/4WD certainly helps in snow and ice. We all know here on Jalop that proper tires should be priority one, but being able to distribute to up to 3 other options when one wheel slips is certainly a good thing and even better when paired with said good shoes.

Trust me, the arch is the absolute last thing you should worry about freaking you out in Missouri/STL

Dumbasses will dumbass, but narrower roads do decrease vehicle speeds for pretty much everyone else. Plus, the dumbasses would likely dumbass even faster with wider roads. You and I have both seen those same SUV drivers easily go twice as fast just a few blocks down on the PCH because it’s 80 ft wide and a glorified

Rivian owner checking in. Yeah, a little surprising, but the “cons” they mention are all small potatoes in terms of severity, and generally attributed more toward earlier VINs and shaking out the kinks in QC.

i.e. we had a window trim piece come loose. Mobile service call and 20 mins fixed it all up with no further

The people that make these kind of financially stupid choices most certainly need Dave Ramsey.

I understand that “all credit cards are stupid, 15 yr mortgage or bust, etc” is clearly not the best choice for most folks, but for those that are very financially uneducated and/or in a poor financial state would do better

The more reasonably ranged lower-tier Sierras are likely going to be a good chunk lighter. Strapping on a giant batter to get the 500 miles of range (which might be absolutely needed once or twice, ever) isn’t a great idea...that weight comes along for the ride everywhere. Seriously, folks, charging infrastructure is

Every politician ever disagrees. ;)

Literally describes an EV, then doesn’t want an EV.

Just to add, he didn’t found Tesla, either despite Tesla’s About page.

Here’s a full comprehensive list of electric minivans:

I don’t believe the LTX2 are 3-peak rated, so it’s unfortunately a no-go for me living in Colorado.

But doesn’t the MAGA crowd generally want to coal-roll anything related to EVs?
