Random example here. Please show me where on this page I can purchase the chosen car.

From my old home of Austin, TX could probably be argued for both best and worst...

I’d argue this is far worse.

Agreed. We live in Colorado, and sometimes the weather does turn to absolute dogshit. For that, we have the formidable Land Cruiser 200. For the other 350 days of the year, the Tesla works just fine.

Yeah, 60A breaker on the external breaker (with the thicker gauge wiring) to the square box...Tesla charger is hardwired from that. Figure power delivery isn’t going to go down anytime soon, so for like an extra ~$50 we could do some light future-proofing.

Seriously. Only the number 2 selling brand here in CO. Jeez.

We paid $1000 for two 60A outlets (and one extra 110v/20A for unrelated purposes) in the garage. Granted, there was already a square box and conduit, so that dropped the price a fair bit, but I’d say ~$500-1000 for a full run in a garage would be fair.

We have a Model 3 that was recently parked out in -7F weather overnight. I did warm it up for about 10 mins, but the mirrors and doors all opened without issue. Obviously, I’m a sample size of 1, so ymmv.

I’m aware, but many driver’s just see a puddle of light in front of their hood and assume everything is a-ok at 9pm.

My issue is the DRLs that only  turn on the headlights, but leave taillights dark. This gives the driver a false impression that his/her lights are “on”, when in reality they’re running dark in the rear. How is this legal?!

Land Bruiser owner here. I support this idea. Charge me an extra dollar or two or 5 per tank. I’m already dropping 50 each time anyways...

Does BB have ones that can control integrated HVAC functions into the touchscreen?

It does exist, but from the forums, it’s a crapshoot of quality.

Wellington Lake, CO

I mean, sorta kinda. With the HVAC controls integrated into the screen, it kinda makes it a PITA...and I’m not exactly a fan of one of those gaudy giant Chinesium aftermarket screens.

There are a couple Aussie companies that make an interface that sits between the OEM head unit and the rest of the system, so you can

Bought mine used, but it was still $$$. I paid the money I did for the reliability and durability, plus a generally comfortable/pleasant (but not opulent) cabin.

I actually owned a 4Runner (2005/4th Gen) prior to the Land Cruiser.

As an LC200 owner, I think it really just needs some Android Auto/Apple Car Play love. Otherwise, the interior is fine.

Because we’re stuck in a two-party voting system where it’s an all-or-nothing choice. Ranked-choice-voting (or really any other similar variant) would open the doors for multiple parties to all have equal weight and nobody’s vote gets “lost”.

SUVs are great. Cars are great. The bastard child of the two...not so much.
