Very good point. We sold our 2-yr-old car back to a dealership because trying to private sale a $40k+ car would have been a headache for both parties.

In Austin, trucks would just take 130, which is a) faster and b) less congested.

No. The idea is to eliminate the small section of I70 that runs along downtown Denver...especially since there’s already a parallel interstate (270/76) that can be utilized to keep actual *inter*state traffic flowing.

“As a rule of thumb, you need to keep the water below your exhaust pipe, or at least keep the engine pushing exhaust out.”

Don’t you ideally want to keep it below your air intake? Exhaust pressure will handle things in the back just fine.

I don’t disagree about its title as an international airport. I disagree about it being any sort of hub, domestic or international, other than as one for FedEx

Indy....international airline hub...

lolno. It offers direct flights to the actual US hubs (SFO, LAX, DEN, ATL, JFK, etc), and a smattering of touristy international flights (Canada, Mexico/Caribbean, Paris) on mostly low-cost-carriers. That’s it.

Because the highway lobby is much bigger and more powerful than train lobbies. Therefore, a $1B highway project is just another day around here, while trying to add $1B to Amtrak’s entire budget would be political suicide.

Umm, I’ve never heard of HSA funds being able to be used for anything other than health-related spending (unless you’re >65).

Usually get about 15-16 real world...but 18 is what the manufacturer specs iirc.

Also, it’s the wife’s car...I would’ve done the V60CC if it were my choice.

“It also makes sense because small cars require less power to move, and thus batteries go further than they would in, say, an electrified XC90"

As the owner of an electrified XC90, I sure hope it goes further than 18 miles....

Well, today is your lucky day!

Wearing my IU shirt today. Love that race. Love that movie.

I think someone stole my Volvo.

Markup. Dealers gotta make money, too.

Ironically, the XC90 is docked for not throwing enough light, even though they specifically designed it to not blind pedestrians and oncoming drivers.

So zero-emissions...wouldn’t that mean they should be shutting down their Arlington and Ft Wayne plants first? /s

It is on the S90 iirc. I doubt there would be the same logic for the S60.

We also have the 2017 Xc90 (T8 Hybrid). It’s been, hand’s down, the most rewarding vehicle purchase either of us have ever experienced.

Every day, the car continues to impress with its luxurious appointments and amazing sound system. We cross-shopped this with the GL, X5, QX60, and Q7 (thought about Land Rover, but I’d

Regardless of who you’re going to choose to blame, people are dying. And the reason can be directly related to the speed of the vehicle and point-of-impact. At 50mph (aka most people on a 40-45mph suburban road), the odds are always in death’s favor, with about a 75% fatality rate (or nearly 100% if you’re elderly).
