Actually, it’s more speed than size or shape that determines lethality in driver-pedestrian crashes. 40mph has about a 50/50 chance of being lethal (or more if you’re older), whereas a crash a 20mph will rarely lead to death.

As a bonus, a fun infographic to see what I mean. https://www.propublica.org/article/unsafe-at-

You know you can still download music for offline listening via Spotify/Google Play Music/iTunes/Tidal/etc., right?

If you want more leg room, economy plus and first/business class are always available.

And this is why we back up our data, kids.

This makes 400hp from an Energizer bunny and a 2.5L motor. Holy shit, we’ve come a long way.

The XC90 sits roughly between the Infiniti QX60 and Audi Q7. The X5 is notably smaller (mostly in length).

Ratings != sales. The Camry was something like the #4 selling vehicle in 2016, Corolla #5, Civic #6, with the Malibu hanging back in 16 spot.

Can’t speak for the XC60, but the XC90 has its radar/etc up at the top of the windshield in front of the rearview mirror. While that moth could still muck up the view up there, it’s much less likely than down on the lower fascia.

As a ‘17 XC90 owner, I can concur that the seats are glorious holders of my heiney. Wonderfully crafted, they hug where they need to hug and breathe where they need to breathe. Heating and cooling and about 1000 different adjustment options add to the awesomeness.

There’s an interesting gap in the desires of charging station owners in their desired usage. For example, ChargePoint has a minimum $2 charge. At $2/hr, I’m forced to stay at least 1 hr at the station, even if I’m just running in for some groceries and will be back out in 30 min.

Agreed. Most Xc90's on the road are T6/T8 Momentum/Inscriptions that go for about $60-75k, $80k on occassion.

Set up a corporation, “hire” yourself, “match” your personal 401k contributions up to 54k. Voila.

Well, we’re already getting pickups with >30mpg (Colorado Diesel). We’re getting sedans that get >40mpg. We’re getting sports cars with >30mpg. All this with more safety features and more power.

So no, I don’t think the impact will be significant.

And no cable subscription required. Us cordcutters can join in as well!

Why are we still showing videos in Flash?!

Not so much utensils, since they’re usually one-piece items, but things like cutting boards and such shouldn’t go in. The heat dries out the wood and melts out wood glue, so joints can separate.

Soooo, it’s better than Lincoln.

I bought a new car...once. I told them ahead of time that if they put any sticker, emblem, or plate frame on my car, I will decline to sign any paperwork right there and then and walk away.

Thank God they listened.
