Current T4R’s are V6 only, while the Lexus cousin does have the 4.6L V8. Or just do like me and pick up a 4th gen with the 4.7 (although I do envy you Lexus guys)

As a 4Runner owner, I concur. :D

You’re on the right track. Police were able to stop a Suburban/Tahoe I believe that was being stolen. However, police had no control of the car itself. It was actually OnStar that shut it down. This can be done with any newer-model GM vehicle.

For those confused, it’s used primarily in small aircraft.

This. Our house has 4 GFIs. One for the garage, kitchen, and two pairs of bathrooms (up and down stairs). There’s anywhere between one and 6 outlets in each, I believe.

The streaming sticks/boxes are usually okay. Their mobile and desktop interfaces, however, are absolutely garbage. Why do I have to download the Amazon App Store so I can download the Amazon Prime app? WTF

Same here. The funeral home we used when my dad passed away charged the same amount as the city/county. Plus, they tend to be able to get a faster return on them since they do business with them every day. It was simply a courtesy passed along.

Exactly. The reason for this announcement is that it looks like these are cities where large Amazon distro centers already exist. Therefore, if you order something that’s in inventory at that center, they can just drive it straight to your house and bypass the whole UPS/FedEx sorting delay.

Unless you own a Tacoma...only saying because I want a gently used one, but it’s the same freakin price as new.

And because repossessing someone’s car, while severely damaging, isn’t nearly as bad as repossessing someone’s home.

Brown TRD? Seems fitting. ;)

Then why do you need my email? Shouldn’t you just be polling various insurance agencies, pulling their quotes, and displaying on my browser? You already have make/model/age/education/etc. Why do you need my email address BEFORE getting a quote?

My 05 4Runner has tackled everything I’ve thrown at it. 4wd, locking center diff....add in some suspension/bumper/tire bits and it’s capable of damn near anything.

What credit card has no limit (beside maybe an AMEX Black card)? Are you sure you’re not talking about a charge card? If that’s the case, if it’s not paid off 100% within one statement period, it’s a late payment. Even if you pay off $9,999.99 of your $10,000.00 statement balance.

And 4Runners and Hilux’s and Land Cruisers! Save the overlanders!

Saw them last year in Denver. Loved that show so much, that we’re flying back again this year just to see them again. (We live in Austin)

Sounds just like my 04/MKIV. Migrated to Toyota (4Runner) simply so I wouldn’t have to deal with quality issues ever again.

I’d say it’s fine. Better than a pickup, worse than a sedan. Not as much fun on the highway obviously, but I’ve crossed the 30-mark, so my idea of “good” is very different than it was when I was hooning a VW GTI 10+ years ago. It’s stable, comfortable, and safely gets me from A to B. But like I mentioned, I bought it

No, not retired, but fortunate to have a very flexible employer that encourages time away from the office (we usually do a weekend trip each month with 1 or 2 longer stays a year).

My wife and I made a goal to visit and explore many of the National Parks and wilderness areas in the US. I wanted a vehicle that, stock, could tackle both highway manners as well as go off-road when needed. Over time, it’ll become more and more an overlander (A/T tires, roof top tent, etc.). I don’t know what an SUV
