You'd think at this point we would have the technological capacity to not have to sacrifice one in favor of the other. I'm hoping whatever development engine becomes the new standard will have the capacity for enhancements like this. It really would add so much to an experience like this to have the water react

YES, that was it exactly. Thank you!

God, this game. It came out during my first winter break back from college and I just freaking devoured it in less than a month.

I remember seeing something about a fish/water tank being rendered with hyper-realistic wave physics and splashes, but I don't think it was being done with Unreal Engine. I'll have to look that up again. (Edit: I'm trying to find the article and I'm completely failing. It's driving me NUTS, lol. It was either featured

The duck has teeth!

I still say they should do a spin-off with him as a noir detective.

I went to SCAD to study Sequential Art (comics), and one assignment we were told to contact an artist to request an interview, but were provided a list of artists whom we were "strongly recommended" not to contact. Johnen Vasquez was on the list; apparently when one past student asked him for an interview and

Man, I used to love Invader Zim back in high school. I probably still would, if its creator wasn't such a snarky dingbat who despised anything he created that actually became popular.

Huh. I actually had no idea this had happened. I swear I remember the message still popping up during the transfer to my New 3DS, but now that I think about it... huh.

Very true. They have changed direction and started using your "Nintendo ID" for identification, but again, it really isn't very efficient at all and doesn't keep track of everything that you buy, or have bought over the past several years.

Nintendo's online store is only just now starting to tie purchases to user accounts via Club Nintendo rather than the device, and even that isn't fully integrated and really flaky at best. So I doubt hackers even consider their network worth the effort since they really won't get access to anything without possession

God help me, I gave this game a legitimate shot. Several times, in fact. I wanted so badly to like it, but dammit that battle system just fought me at every turn.

I love Xenoblade as well, though I never was able to get that far into it and lost my place, so I'm looking forward to starting over with the 3DS release.

Not anywhere in the title does it specify that the XB1 is the ONLY console with these issues, or even say "Compared to the Wii U/PS4." It just so happens that the system has indeed had problems with stability in many of its exclusive titles, several of which were rather large-profile releases for the system. This

Hey now, I was the artsy kid who sat in the second-to-last row of class, not the back. There's a difference!

Chrono Trigger, a video game about a guy with spiky hair who refuses to talk to any of his friends, officially turns 20 today, because we are all old as hell.

Ahhhh.... yes. Gobshite. I used to say that word all the time back in the day. You couldn't STOP me from saying this word. Gobshite THIS, gobshite THAT.

"You aren't special enough." What a delightfully narcissistic attitude you have.

You should try reading my other replies in this thread, too.

So... you preach about searching valiantly for rare Amiibos, trying to pump people full of confidence and dedication, urging them to keep up the search towards finally finding the ones they want the most actually on store shelves... and then admit that you bought TWO Mega Man's, when you only need one.
