Down at SCAD in Savannah, GA, they have the annual Sidewalk Arts Festival. People sign up and are issued a single square of concrete in Forsythe Park to decorate as they see fit with chalk and other non-permanent media. Really it's only a 5' square canvas, but you would have your mind blown by some of the stuff people

Sort of on a semi-related topic, but I really miss the channels they used to have dedicated to all the old Nick content. The NickToons station started off as a place for all of the old classics — Ren & Stimpy, Rocko, AHH!! Real Monsters, Angry Beavers — but has slowly devolved into a receptacle of nothing but

Barbie: Groom & Glam Pups?!?!!!! MY REASON FOR OWNING A 3DS IS FINALLY HERE?!?!?!!

They forgot Mowgli and Snorlax, floating down a river together.

Flounder's "special" cousin, Flawndurr.

I also hear there's a pretty good deal where used copies of Xenoblade Chronicles are back in stock at GameStop for only $89.99! That's way cheaper than most places online! What a steal!

Out of the dozen or so people I've spoken to about this story so far today (some of which are actual GameStop employees), I'm the only one who actually managed to get a copy of the game when it was first released. There were stores that didn't even get enough copies to cover their initial preorders, so to hear now

Most people did. It was released later in the NES' life, went under the radar, and is now one of the rarest games on the system, with loose cartridges going for $100+ each (into the hundreds if it's boxed).

Yup! I heard the remake actually combines elements/levels from both Ducktales 1 & 2, but I haven't seen anything else on it yet. Been trying to avoid too much info on the remake before it comes out so I'm more surprised, hehe.

I dunno, I think that's just a matter of taste. Personally I rather like how the game looks just from what I've seen in previews.

The download version of the game just cannot withstand the incredible awesomeness of the special Gold-cartridge swag Capcom sent out to game sites to hype up the launch.

It's times like these I really wish I'd had the foresight to call in sick from work this morning.

Yup! Though I think some items come more frequently than others for each copy of the game. Like I keep getting Samus gear in mine, but my wife keeps getting Link's gear in hers. It's odd how they programmed it in.

Thanks! I'll share more once they're done. :)

Only for the flag. If you're using one character, you are still limited to 8 slots for pasting the tiles anywhere else. The ground/wallpaper/paintings/signs all will change if you edit the patterns afterwards. It's only the flag that remains constant (that I've found so far).

I've done a few, but these are the largest so far. I want to work through each of the Mega Man boss arenas, hehe.

Yup, you just treat them like 8-bit tilesets. The Tetris one uses 7 pattern slots and the Metal Man uses all 8. Also, once you set the flag design for the town, you can then change that slot's design and it won't change on the flag.

Sweeeeeeeeet. I love putting together murals on this game. Now they finally gave us a better way to share them!

"You mean you have to use your eyes?? That's like a BABY'S toy!!"

I agree with this sentiment, as I, too, hate graphics that are too pretty. It's like, what gives you the right to hoard all the pretty graphics for yourself?? You're all toutin' around your fancy-ass HD graphics on your 4K displays while there are children in Africa who are forced to play barely in 480i on their
