Well, no... it's not a fact. Saying a game is "great" is entirely your opinion, and opinions by definition are not factual. They're entirely subjective.

I don't know what's more sad: the fact that a horrendously exploitative in-app marketplace like this even exists, or that it's become so commonplace by this point that I no longer have the energy to be surprised by it.
Why Chrono? Perhaps because it's been so long since a Chrono game was produced, having an entire week dedicated to the series with ample feedback from viewers would give a strong sign that there is still significant interest in the franchise. Which (one can dream) could potentially convince Square-Enix to consider…
Absolutely. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better series to spend a week praising and over-analyzing.
You guys need to have a Chrono Week to make up for this. If you're going to spend an entire week gushing over a game franchise, at least make it one that's worthy of the praise.
Dang it, I hate when I get IGN in my Kotaku.
"Plus there's a $10 coupon good towards a Skylanders Giants starter kit..."
My favorite part of the video is the final half-second where he does this random out-of-place grin just before the camera cuts off.
I completely share your sentiment here, Ashcraft. There will always be those rare styles that stand out from the crowd, but the anime industry as a whole is notoriously oversaturated with "comfortable" art styles — comfortable in familiarity to both the readers and the artists themselves. You can pick two random manga…
So THIS is why there haven't been any new Mega Man games lately? You've been too busy playing Batman??
At this point it's like Capcom isn't even holding us hostage anymore. Most of the hostages have already passed out from exhaustion, but they're still dancing around the room, clicking their heels with glee, bringing out more and more food to burn in front of the barely-conscious MegaMan fans while cackling maniacally…
Good to see the new commenting system is doing its job in preserving the integrity of conversation around here.
There needs to be an un-star button for posts that were wrongly approved.
I know it's a simple difference between British English and American English, but it still throws me off whenever I see "per cent" as two words instead of one. Yes, it's why American pennies are called cents, and "percent" rose from that, being a measurement out of 100. Ahh, language.
I dunno. He comes off sounding more smug than charming. The "You're entirely right, but I'm gonna keep on doing it anyway" type of jester.
Ahh. That'd be an interesting piece of the puzzle, if Drakengard's OST was actually not an original composition. I've never heard of game soundtracks reusing pieces of stock music for a main theme — particularly RPG's, which usually have soundtracks written specifically for the game. Though if the original Drakengard…
(stupid double post)
...and an episode from the show. Skip to 3:15 to hear it, when they're voting.
I always thought it was weird how the game show Dog Eat Dog here in the US had reused the menu music from the original Drakengard for some of their music, yet no one else ever seemed to realize it. Here's the menu theme from Drakengard:
They were the Pinky's of the Earthbound realm.
For me, it's the overall claymation-style look of the characters. I still have my copy of the player's guide (and the original cart). All throughout the book, rather than show in-game graphics or drawn art, they had actually built clay models of various enemies and boss creatures, in addition to NPC's and key items.
