I loved the first one as well. But there was something about them not using "YOU'RE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN SAVE THE WHOLE WOOOOOORLD" trope, and putting it on a much smaller scale, that I found really engaging.

Yeah, the reused zones were my biggest complaint. I think it might have been better if the map didn't show the areas that were cut off. It would have helped with the illusion that each area was a different area.
