The open-world Spider-Man games may work for you. I'd suggest Arkham City, but it has some small bits of profanity in it.
The problem, as far as I know, is that all the big console companies have stated they won't allow AO games for their systems. So developers like Rockstar attempt to push the line of what can be accept as rated M, without getting the dreaded AO rating ( like what happened with Manhunt 2).
I agree with this. I enjoyed the article overall, and do think this is a discussion worth having.
That...I'm not so sure of. I'd personally recommend having it as the first tag, since that's usually what you see next to the headline on the TAY page.
To my understanding, you use it if you would like to see or think your post is good enough to be shared to Kotaku's front page, instead of just a casual mention in the daily blurb such as this.
The problem with the AO rating being used more is that, iirc, all three big console companies have said they won't allow AO gams to be developed for their systems. It's why Rockstar had to heavily edit Manhunt 2 back when it first released.
Where do you go to go scuba diving?
Aren't you a special snowflake?
I think my server is glitched. Can I get a world transfer over here?
I think it is less going to Call of duty route, and more like what happened with Bethesda and Obsidian for Fallout: NV. Bethesda was busy working on Skyrim, but didn't want that long of break between Fallout entries, so they let Obsidian make a new Fallout game using pre-existing assets. That's kind of what I see…
While I can see where the complaints come from, I find it hard to really take them seriously. It's GTA. Everything is exaggerated and the dial is turned up to 11. As a lampooning take on our consumerist culture, it's of course going to dial up to already blatant misogyny of our culture and turn it up to 11 as well.
Central Pa here. I've tried figuring out the best way to describe my area, and the best I've come up with is "We generally seem to wish we were from the south".
I wonder sometimes if people like this have ever been on the internet. It's reminiscent of the Beyonce picture thing a while back. If you don't want attention drawn to something, then the very last you do is go online and tell people you don't want attention brought to this thing.
I was never big on either AOTS or X-Play, but what are the chances of cinematech coming back?
The lack of American Mcgee's Alice anywhere on this list disturbs me.
There are too many to name, but thank you to all the developers who have brought me and the people I love so much enjoyment. Even if I don't personally play the game you make, thank you for making it for someone else to enjoy.
As long as it's good, I don't care. It remains to be seen if it will be worth a subscription or not.
Not everybody plays Nintendo games. I have neither a Wii U nor a 3DS, so yes, this entire summer has been less than great for me gaming-wise. Dealzon was spot on as far as I'm concerned.
