I think, by and large, a lot of critics are fans who can write well and/or have unrelated backgrounds. Like "ohi, I have a background in gender studies, so this qualifies me to talk about the merits of fiction." Stuff like that.

It's an interesting idea, but I feel it's limiting itself. I can see all different kinds of levels and such where you not only have to avoid the traps throughout a typical RPG dungeon, but clean them up as well. The next level could be trying different cleaning tools and sprays to get that sticky alien green guck off

I'm personally kind of sick of this view from the majority of Jezzies. I read both Kotaku and Jezebel daily. And, just like here, it's really only the controversial articles that pull the trolls out. You can go to any normal article and find funny jokes and intelligent discussion.

No Killzone for me. Beyond: Two Souls has my interest. I'll probably get both Watch Dogs and GTA5 for PS4. A new Oddword game staring Abe somewhere near launch. I'm still holding out hope Stick of Truth will get a ps4 version announced. Assassin's Creed 4 seems like as good a reason as any to make the jump. Knowing

Don't listen to Slosh. I enjoy reading these comments from people like you. It puts a smile on my face every time I start up my copy of the game.

If you think of the original game in episodes like a tv show, then this is like a "special tv mini-series". I'd say it's about the length of two episodes maybe.

I know I'm super late to the discussion, but if you'll allow just one more LP fan to speak? I have a few different reasons I watch.

Not really. Kotaku is simply a gaming site. Gaming covers quite a few different genres. Including sports and wrestling. And they even count as "real games".

Weird how people who aren't you don't always share your opinion, isn't it?

We just don't get it. His actions are simply the only defense that helped him to survive the roving packs of attacking gays before he slipped here from Minor-World, where he was hunted simply for the color of his skin.

This has always been his usual MO. Glad to see others are picking up on it as well. No matter the topic, Suess knows it better than anybody else, including actual experts in the field. If someone has it bad in life, Suess has it worse (#3 in the linked article is all about making fun of him and his ultra-rare disease

Not a fanboy. Just a contrarian. Anything enjoyed by more than 5 people on Kotaku, you hate.

Aww, but that means Spicy Horse was unable to get the rights back to the Alice series. He had said on Facebook it was only going to be one or the other. Dammit.

Crap! I didn't read this until after I started the update! Now I have to sit here, hoping my PS3 doesn't brick.

This game. I just can't freaking wait. It feels like I've had it pre-ordered forever now.

Huge South Park and RPG fan here as well. This has been a must-have for me since it was first announced. I like Obsidian's normal fare, but like laser, it's the fact that this is so different from any other RPG out there that has me foaming at the mouth for this game.

Glad you found Kotaku Core. Just waned to add though these are usually tagged off-topic ( though I notice the tag is missing this week), and off topic tends to be....well, off topic.

I can only imagine her thoughts on it.

Now playing

Probably not going to change your mind here, but I have to say you are doing yourself a complete disservice by not trying out Undead Nightmare. Yes, it has zombies, but it has so much more. Whole new storyline all of its own. New stranger missions. New weapons ( the tomahawk is awesome). And the new horses.

Just remember, anytime he begins to irritate you, you can just go to this Cracked article that makes fun of him.
