Hmmm good sequels that aren't godfather or aliens. I'm sick of hearing that comment so here are a few sequels I think are real good and/or really fun.

I also refuse to call him Shazam.

Male. I don't think the female Dr. light is in the New52

Did I miss the part where Black Adam returned from the grave? Thought he was dead as recent as Trinity War issue 1

I actually didn't mind his work on Action Comics as much as most.  But I agree that his art hasn't seemed to reach the quality that he was at with Identity Crisis (say what you want about the book, but the art was really good)

The Neal Adams story was surreal as hell.  Even for him!  Batman yelling about "I can't do anything about those socks!" seemed to me like instant meme material.

The store I shop at (Midtown Comics in Times Square) was selling both the Special Covers and the Regular Covers.  The Special Covers were limit one per costumer and being sold at the cover price of 3.99.  The regular versions had a price of 2.99.  I think your LCS took the gimmick of Villains Month literally and

Whoa, Red Flag.  Where is this?  I have never heard of a shop charging costumers for a pull-list.  Especially not $25 with no benefit of a discount.  That is outrageous.

Dang I spelled his last name wrong off the cuff.  my bad.

I loved that Xorn arc, and was furious when Marvel immediately retconned it.

Spike is my favorite character in the entire series and his presence always enhances any episode.  And that is my opinion.

nah, Bizarro and Ultraman are different enough from each other that there is room for both in the world of DC Comics.  Bizarro has long been a classic Superman villain and there are plenty of good stories featuring him.  Ultraman and the Crime Syndicate are a fun Silver Age concept that gets revisited time and again,

I forget the interview, but Geoff Johns suggested that Dr. Light may eventually come back from the dead as a villain.  I don't even know anymore either.

I thought the origin of Jackanapes was an odd choice, and there was a caption at the end alluding to a continuation of the story, which surprised me.

Totally agree.  The New 52 was a terribly planned, slapped together at the last minute, disaster that has done very little in the way of making better comics.  DC threw the baby out with the bathwater.

Loving this book!  I laugh out loud every issue.  So funny

I know some casual fans who are pretty upset about this whole Villains Month thing disrupting the ongoing story in the few books they read.  The prevailing consensus among those I have spoke to is that "DC Editorial is completely fucked up and we are getting pretty sick of it".  The Batwoman incident is particularly

I really like the Fllaming Lips and used to like this song until an ex girlfriend made it the alarm on her phone. I was staying with her and one night we were trying to sleep but for whatever reason her alarm would go off what seemed like every ten min, yelling "she don't use jelly, she don't use cheese!" And it was

How come Wesley Willis fans don't tend to get this same critique?

I lost all interest in ever watching Comedy Central.
