Subway’s allure was always the value of a big cheap sandwich that’s a couple steps up from something you’d buy premade in a store. I could feed my family of six for a pretty reasonable price.

Garfield has a huge head compared to the size of his face and the skinniness of his body.

And genuinely cared about the people he was roasting because they all worked together in entertainment. I don’t really see Gervais rubbing elbows with the people he targets, so it just comes off as petty.

The McAllister’s definitely had some generational wealth helping them out. I doubt that house was entirely paid for by whatever job the dad had.

I’ve said this on her before, but if I could build a time machine I would go back and buy two Scion xA’s in 2006, when I got the one that I’m still driving. Never had to put any money into it other than maintenance. It’s zippy, great on gas, and drives well in the snow. Oh, and I bought it brand new for 15k.
